Chapter 1 

Gabi’s P.O.V 

“Gabi, I know he likes you!” Shelby insisted trying to prove her point.

“Yeah, right! Harry Styles likes me!” I grinned with sarcasm.

“C’mon Gabi! Since you came to our school he’s always with you, ALWAYS!! On shopping, school, even in your house!” she chuckled.

“He’s just a friend Shelb!” I said while I lie in my bed and try to change the topic.

The last two months were a little harsh for me. I used to live with my mum and my little sister, but since my dad got a promotion at work I moved with him to another town. My mom and dad aren’t married anymore and the relationship between me and my dad it’s weird since then. I was the oldest daughter and I went through all the divorce drama.

Well, my dad travels all week and almost everyday, so the most part of time I’m in home alone, which means that I love when Shelby come to chill with me.

“Can I see my e-mails Gabi?’’ She asked while opening my laptop. 

“Sure.” I grinned.

Bzz…

 I reach for my phone in my pocket and when I open the text I see this from Harry…

 

“Hey Gabs, 

You’re going to Matt’s party with me, right?????????? :D -H. xx” 

 

I’m not in the mood for parties tonight. Even more parties like this. Half of my school will be there and I really don’t want see all those ‘annoying and popular girls’ on a Saturday.

 

   “Oh, no Hazz… :L, I really have to go? I’m not in the mood tonight! -G.xx” 

 

Before I could put my phone back at my pocket it start to buzzing again …

“Yeah!! you’ll be my ‘partner’ Ha-ha. Don’t make me go alone to a party Gabs! I’ll knock for you about 8 :D –H. xx” 

 

Well, I think I gotta find a party outfit now.

I look at Shelby and she was chilling on twitter…  that girl is so addicted!

“E-mails, uhh? “ I chuckled

“What? Oh…. I’m just seeing what’s  the new gossips!” she said trying to close the tabs.

“It’s okay” I said laughing.

“Shelbyyyy…. I need some help! “I said waiting for her great sense of fashion to save me.

“What kind of help?” she asked with some afraid of the answer.

“I need some fashion help!” I grinned.

She almost fell from the chair when she heard the words ‘fashion help’… then she opened my wardrobe and started to throw all my clothes on the floor, trying to find some ‘decent’ outfit for me! Hahaha

Shelby loves to pick clothes for me, and I love that weird and over happy girl!

Harry’s P.O.V 

“You’re such a coward, you know that Harry?” Louis said laughing out loud of me.

“I’m not coward Louis, I just… I don’t know, but for some reason I always be so nervous when I’m with her!” I said feeling my face burn. Why that girl makes me feel like this ??!!

“You never stay nervous with girls Harry! You’re a flirty curly!”He chuckled

“Yeah, but it’s different when I’m with Gabi!”

And it really is… 

Since she came to my school in the middle of the last semester.

My Biology teacher always makes me sit alone in his class (maybe is because he enjoys my friendship!! Ha-ha) But that day  had a new girl on school and the only one who doesn’t had a partner was me, so Mr. Brent after present her to class said she could sit with me.

She has a long dark brown hair and long eyelashes. And yeah… I know is a little bit rude, but at first sight I didn’t saw anything much on her… She was pretty common and really shy often… 

While she was on front of the class she stayed nervously looking at the floor and shuffling her feet all the time.

She smiled and sat next to me, but she stayed the full time without say a single word not even once. 

So I decided to start to a conversation and end up with all that awkward moment, what isn’t that difficult for me, like I’m not shy …at all!

It was easily after a few days…. she started to talk more often with me and like we had more three or four classes together we became friends really quickly.

After a while I started to see on her what I didn’t saw at first… she’s amazing, I mean… she’s not only pretty, she’s really nice and funny and she hates to talk about her life and about how she’s actually feeling, she’s really shy and it makes her more cute than she already is, she can’t sing at all but she lives singing something all the time and when I showed her that I can actually sing, she almost fainted…. It was so funny; she was like “omg, why you never told me that before?? You’ll sing to me all the time, I’ll pay you!!” hahahaha and when we are near of others people she acts like a normal person, what she’s in fact isn’t , she’s always making weird jokes and talking about  random stuff .

She’s always with her fringe all over her face, I think it’s because when she’s embarrassed it helps her to hide… hahahaha

Damn … I think I like her more than I actually should!!

……

But I think I’ll never be aloud to ask her out…we become best friends, and I don’t want to do something and take the risk to ruin our friendship.

“Harry, I gotta go now, see you on Matt’s party?” Louis said interrupting my thoughts.

“Uh, yeah…The party.” I said remembering that I need to text Gabi.

Chapter 2 

Gabi’s P.O. V 

7:45 PM…

 Okay, I’m ready, now I Just gotta wait Harry.

I’m wearing a black floral skirt that was matched with a cream top and tights and my hair it’s straight like always.

After a few minutes I heard the door bell, must be Harry.

I open and Harry was standing there with his Jack Wills jacket like always, his curls falling on his face and a cute smile showing his dimples…

Wow…I actually can see what all the girls at our school sees on this boy…. He makes me feel butterflies all over my tummy every time he stares at me like this.

“Ready Gabs?” He asked me with his cute smile.

“Yeah.” I answer closing the door behind me.

Matt’s house isn’t far from mine, so we go walking.

“So, what you would be doing right now if I didn’t texted saving you from your bored night?” He chuckled

“Well, I’m supposed to be watching some TV, eating some popcorn and after this sleeping on the couch! “ I chuckled sarcastically.

He laughs.

“Yeah, you can thank me later through!” He said while he put his arm around my shoulders.

 

Chapter 3 

Gabi’s P.O.V 

Matt’s house is really big and he always makes parties like this.                                                                                                                                       Harry loves parties, but I hate often, well, He gotta love this kind of stuff. He’s the popular lad of school that knows everyone… what it’s obvious not my case, I don’t know the most part of people here; I just came because he makes me and well… Here I am.

We walk thru the room to reach our group…Zayn, Shelby ,Louis and Emma were standing next to the stairs , the rest of the group was sitting on the couch next to us. Shelby is my bestie, but Danni and Emma are also my friends, since I came to this town they were so lovely and sweet with me making me feel part of the group.

Danni is Liam’s girlfriend and Emma dates Louis. Shelby is actually single, but she has a huge crush on Niall which isn’t secret for anyone and we all thinks he likes her too, they match so well. But neither he nor she has the guts to ask the other out…

Suddenly, I feel someone pulling my arm really strong I look back and it’s Danni.

“What the Hell Danni!” I said in loud voice.

“Gabi, I was waiting for you, I need to tell you something!” she said taking me to the other side of the room.

We stopped next to a table full of empty cups.

“Okay Danni, what you want to tell me?” I said raising an eyebrow.

“Gabi, earlier today I was at shopping with Liam, we were chatting about our group and others random stuff and Zayn was there too …”

“Yeah, and what’s the fresh big news?”  I chuckled.

“Let me finish, okay???!!” 

“Okay, then.”  I said shaking my head and taking a sit.

“Then Liam had to go home and I stayed with Zayn and we start a conversation… and I doubt you guess what I discovered!! “She said sitting next to me.

“What you discovered Danniiii? “ I said don’t showing any interest about what she was talking.

“ZAYN FANCIES YOU!!” she said in emphasis.

“What?? Yeah…Okay Danni, I’ll pretend that I believe in you! “I sighed

“It’s true Gabi!!” she said trying to make me to believe.

“If this is true… how do you know this? He just told you? “I questioned.

“Yeah… I mean…a kind of, he was talking about you and how pretty you are and he asked me if I know if there’s something between you and Harry… “She stopped to take a breath;

“Gosh! Why everyone always thinks there’s something between me and Harry??” I sighed again.

“C’mon Gabi… you just have to look to you and he when, you guys are together seems like those perfect movie couple who always end  up in a beach or something like this with him kissing her forehead after sharing a milkshake and proposed marriage….” She said raising an eyebrow.

I gave her a look “a milkshake?? Seriously Danni?? “

“Well, yeah…but this is another thing… I think he just never asked you out because you never talked with him properly!”

“Who? Harry?” I asked confused, she was already messing with my mind.

“No Gabi… Zayn!!! You never talked with him in a properly way… “She said a little impatient.

” What you mean with ‘talk with him properly’?” I asked confused

“Oh, forget Gabs! “She sighed. “But, tell me what you going to do now?? “She asked me curious.

“I won’t do anything Danni! I don’t even know if he really fancies me or if it’s just thoughts of your weirdo mind! “I grinned.

 

Chapter 4 

Gabi’s P.O.V 

I don’t know if I’m imagining things after what Danni told me tonight.. But I’m with the awkward feeling that Zayn is flirting with me the all night.

Seriously…this is awkward!

One time, he put his arm around my shoulders and kept talking with me with his face really closer of mine.

Don’t get me wrong, he’s really cute, he have hazel eyes and just like Harry the girls always threw themselves on him, But I’m feeling a awkward turtle with all this situation. And yeah, Harry does the same with me all the time, but it’s quite different….

After a while in a group conversation, we split… Liam was with Danni, Shelby was talking with Niall and some girls, Louis and Emma were dancing in the middle of the room… Ha-ha they are the funniest couple that I ever seen!!

… And I’m with Zayn (Great!!)

But… I’m missing someone… hum… Harry?? I look thru the room trying to find him…And Oh; He’s with a very pretty girl with long blond hair.

I look back to Zayn andhe’s talking about something  very excited, but I wasn’t paying any attention at the beginning, so I decide to back my eyes to Harry ,now they are holding hands… wow, Nice flirt you got there ,uhh curly?? Ha-ha

Now, she kissed him on the lips!! Wait… What????

I can’t believe he kissed her… I mean, well he was clearly flirting with her, but…  I feel like if the roof was fallen over my head…Shit! Why the Hell I’m feeling like this?!? He’s just a friend, isn’t he?! ISN’T HE???

I feel tears in my eyes, so I look at Zayn interrupting whatever he was saying to me and say that I need to go to the bathroom…

I go up stairs as fast as I could and I opened the first door that I saw, Isn’t the bathroom but I don’t care I just want to some  place to cry without anyone see me…

I sit on the floor trying to find answers for what the hell I’m feeling like this.

Maybe I don’t like Harry just like a friend, maybe he means more to me that I actually thought.

“Shit!” I said in loud voice trying to hide my face in my hands.

Harry’s P.O.V

This party isn’t that good like I thought it would be.

Zayn it’s talking with Gabi the all night, what’s starting to make me wonder why?       He almost never talk with her and suddenly they become BFFs ?!

“Hey Hazza, how are you tonight?” A girl said touching my shoulder.

“Yeah, I’m good thanks and you?” I replied don’t having any clue of who she actually was.

“I’m pretty well honey” She grinned

Then she started to talk about loads of random things and after a few minutes I finally discovered who she was: Holly, a girl from school , she’s really pretty but right now she’s also really drunk .

“So… you’re single right Harry?” She asked holding my hand

“Uh…yeah.” I replied

“I don’t know if you already know this, but I always had a huge crush on curly haired boys!! “ Her voice sounded paused and slurred.

“Uh, yeah well… I gotta go now Holly…” I said trying to get out of that awkward moment.

But before I could move, she wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me on the lips.

“Heyyyy!!!” I said pushing her in the nicest way that I could, making her sit in the couch that was behind her. She was really dizzy so it wasn’t that difficult.

I turned around and started to make my way to the boys .When I reached them, Louis was already making fun of me.

“Oi,Oi curly , so you finally gave up Gabi and found another girl uhh??” Louis chuckled.

“Yeah, right… drunken girls are the best!!” I grinned sarcastically.

Chapter 5 

Gabi’s P.O.V

After a few minutes sitting on the floor I finally stop crying.

I sighed and get up from the floor. I stayed al the time crying and only now I realized that I was on the dark. When I finally turn the lights on I can see better the room.

It’s a bedroom with a simple decorating and fixed in one of the walls has a mirror.

I reached the mirror to see how my face was after all that drama moment. And yeah, as I was expecting, I’m looking like a panda with my black mascara all over my face.

I tried my best to clean it so I could go back down stairs. When I finally finished fixing myself I reach the door and start to make my way down stairs, but before I could close the door behind me I heard someone calling my name.

“Hey Gabi, you were taking too long to go back so I decided to come to see if everything is alright…”Zayn grinned.

“Yeah, I’m okay, thanks.” I said making an effort to hide my red eyes.

“Are you sure? You don’t seem that good…” He insisted

“Yeah, I was just a little dizzy, but I’m okay now.” I lied trying to avoid looking into his eyes.

“Maybe you should stay a little while here, there’s loads of people and loud music there” He said taking my hand and making me enter into another room like the one I was before.

I didn’t want to go downstairs where is more illuminated and take the risk to see Harry with that girl, pretending that I don’t care when I actually do, a lot!

So I didn’t said anything and took a sit on the edge of the bed.

He closed the door and took a sit next to me.

“Are you better?” he asked pulling a piece of my hair behind my ear.

“Yeah, I’m fine.” I said getting up from the bed and reaching the door.

“Wait….” He said coming to my direction and closing the door behind me.

“There’s a thing that I want to do before we go.” He said grinning

“What?” I asked confused.

His face was close of mine and I could feel his breath, our bodies were touching slightly and I felt sparks fly between us.

  He leaned in and whispered in my ear: “This…”

 His face was moving towards mine, like slow motion, he closed his eyes and slowly bringing his face closer to mine. I know what’s about to happen, Oh my God, I can’t kiss him, not when I’m in love with his best friend!

His lips touched mine while his hands slithered down my back and parked themselves on my hips pulling me closer.

After a few minutes he pulled away his lips and again whispered in my ear “You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do that for, Gabs!” Then he kissed my cheek and grabbed my hand.

“Let’s go down stairs now?” he said grinning.

“Yeah…” I said still in shock of what just happened. I couldn’t kiss him… I couldn’t…

 

Chapter 6 

When we arrived the living room I see Harry coming towards in my direction, I quickly fling my hand out making Zayn give me a look, probably wondering why the heck I did that. But before he could say anything Shelby pulled my arm making me enter in the kitchen.

“Gabi what you were doing upstairs with Zayn? And please don’t you dare lie to me I saw you guys holding hands!!” Shelby asked quite loud with a huge grin on her face.

I was a mixed of feelings and the first two minutes I stood there almost frozen looking at her.

“You were right Shelb! Well… in part, but yeah you were right earlier …” I sighed.

 “What? I don’t get it Gabs..” Shelby asked confused.

“Well, I like Harry, a lot! And I just saw him kissing a girl.” I felt tears in my eyes again but I have to contain myself now.

“Ohh Gabiiii…” she said pulling me in a hug.

“Wait, but why you were holding hands with Zayn then?”She asked more confused than before.

“yeah…uhh.. I kissed Zayn…” I said embarrassed.

“WHAT? Gabi, are you drunk or what? First you ‘discover’ that you love Harry then you kiss his best friend?!?” She asked quite angry.

“He kissed me Shelb! It wasn’t me, I was in a room crying my eyes out and then Zayn appeared and kissed me! Don’t judge me, okay? You’re my best friend and my night it’s already awful, don’t make it worse!” I said while sitting in a chair that was near.

“I’m sorry Gabi…” She said taking a sit next to me.

“I didn’t mean to be rude, I just… well it’s a lot of information for my mind process…” She grinned.

“Yeah, I know, for me too!” I said feeling tears pouring down my face again.

Chapter 7

Gabi’s P.O.V

I’m tired, sick of my own drama and I don’t even know what I’m still doing here…

The most part of the people was leaving by now, making the living room empty.                                                  

My head it’s such a mess right now and all I want to do now is get some sleep… I close my eyes for a while trying to make my thoughts disappear and when I open Harry was stood there in front of me chuckling like usual.

“Are you okay Gabi?” He asked trying to hide his laugh.

“No, I’m tired! I should be sleeping now, but my lovely curly haired friend disappeared leaving me here almost sleeping on the couch of a stranger!” I said raising an eyebrow.

“Ha-ha, yeah… let’s go then moody” He chuckled grabbing my hand.

When we were walking thru the front garden I see Zayn chatting with Liam and Niall, he looked at me but before I could think in do anything he quickly turned his head to the opposite direction making me feel more guilty that I already was.

I can’t understand… why is he acting like this? Maybe he’s upset because I didn’t want to hold his hand earlier… what?! No… we just kissed… Zayn isn’t the type of guy that would be angry because some girl didn’t hold his hand, he’s popular and stuff and … urgh!!! Seriously, this night can’t be worse!

Zayn’s P.O.V

I can’t understand what’s the problem with that girl! First we kiss and I thought that she enjoyed but then a second later she don’t want to do a simple thing like hold my hand?! I mean… she acted like if she were embarrassed to show that we were together… ohh… C’mon! Isn’t like if I asked her to be my girlfriend!?

“Hey guys, did you see Gabi?” Shelby asked.

“Yeah, she just passed here with Harry; I think they were going home.” Niall replied.

“Oh, alright then, I think I should the same. Bye guys!!”  She said waving.

“Shelb, wait!!” I said pulling her arm.

“Yeah?!” She looked over her shoulder

“Can I talk with you for a moment?” I said hoping for a positive reply

“Yeah, sure…” She said pulling her hair behind her ear.

While we were walking towards to the front door I hear Niall saying, almost whispering to Liam… “What Zayn wants to talk with Shelb that he can’t say in front of us?”

“Calm down Irish! He wont kidnap your girl… don’t worry!” Liam replied chuckling.

I start to laugh quite loud making Shelby gives me a look wondering what’s so funny…

I shake my head in denial looking at Niall over my shoulders. “It’s nothing…”

“Well you gonna tell me why I’m here for or you just gonna stay randomly laughing?!”She said crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow.

“No, sorry…” I sighed trying to catch a breath. “Well, you’re like… Gabi’s best friend, right?” I asked seriously.

“Uh… yeah, why?”She replied.

“Well, you know if there’s something between Harry and Gabi?”I asked

“Uh… I don’t get this ‘something’ but yeah, they’re friends.” She replied a little bit rude.

“Oh, okay…” I said

“Why?” She asked.

Well, if she’s asking why it’s because Gabi didn’t tell anything to her. But best friends usually tell everything to each other…. Which means that she didn’t care about what happened? Okay, now my self esteem it’s really low.

“Uh… nothing, I was just… curious about it.” I lied.

“Okay, I got to go now, bye!” She said walking forwards from where we were.

Chapter 8

Gabi’s P.O.V

I wake up in the same outfit that I was wearing last night and I’m still feeling tired.

After taking a shower I sit in the edge of my bed, yet in towel.

Wait, where I left my phone??  It’s amazing how I always lost it! Gosh!

I dress my PJ’s and lay in my bed again.Yeah, go out of the perimeter of my house isn’t in my plans for today!

When I lie I fell something in my back, YAY, I found my phone! How I slept the all night with this under me?! Jesus!

When I unlock it I see the notification 3 new messages. Whoa, I never felt so popular!

I opened and the first it’s from Harry.

“Hey Gabs, what you up to do today? We could watch some DVDs ;) – H xx”

I quickly replied back.

“Well, I was planning get some sleep, but yeah… Why not? Ha-ha :) –G xx”

When I opened the next was from dad.

“Gabriella I’ll stay traveling till Wednesday, okay? Anything you need you can text me.Okay honey? – Love, dad :D”

My dad is the only person who still insists in calling me by my full name….

“Okay dad, be safe –G x”

And finally this from…. Zayn?!? Okay that was unexpected! He never texted me before, actually I didn’t even knew that he has my number and … well, I thought that he was kinda upset with me … well; maybe I was a little paranoid yesterday!

“Hey Gabi, I think we didn’t started very well yesterday, so I was thinking maybe we could go out and.. I don’t know; maybe do something, what you think? :D –Z x “

Oh God, I can’t say no, I mean…He was so cute… even with what I did yesterday avoiding him and pretending that nothing happened between us in front of people, he texted me ….

So, yeah… I think my plans of stay in bed with my PJ’s all day long it’s ruined.

Zayn’s P.O.V

I should text Gabi or not??

Well, yesterday she totally ignored me , actually she don’t even said bye when she was leaving with Harry…

Yeah, but maybe she’s just, you know.. shy…

Urgh, Zayn! I can’t believe you’re sitting here with your phone in your hand for like 30 minutes thinking about text or not Gabi!!C’mon isn’t like if you were liking her, you just… think she’s pretty, right? RIGHT ZAYN??

Oh man, I gotta stop talking with myself!!

You know what? Im going to text her, if she didn’t reply it’s alright… I don’t really care!

Okay, now I’m gonna wait…

After 20 MINUTES waiting she finally replied, 20 minutes? Really?

“yeah, sure… what you was thinking?- Gx”

“Well… I dunno… I could pass in your house about 6 then we can decide this together… :) –Z x”

“Okay… I see you later! :D –G x”

Chapter 9

Shelby’s P.O.V

Yesterday was …. Weird!

Poor Gabi, I wish I could help her! But only she can help herself now!

“SHELBBBBBBB, HURRY UP!!” my mum shouted from downstairs interrupting my thoughts.

I run downstairs and when I reach the living room I see my mum seated in the black couch, probably waiting for me.

“Are you sure you gonna be okay alone in home for 5 days honey?” mum asked.

“yeah mum, we have already discussed that!” I said raising an eyebrow.

“I know sweetie, but I’m not so sure yet! Maybe I should stay at home with you… Greg and your dad will be fine together…” she said clutching her bag against her chest.

“Mum! For God sake doesn’t do that! I’m old enough to stay in home alone for 5 days! And you and dad are planning this trip for ages!” I said trying to convince mum again.

“But dear….”

“Hey, mum let’s go!! Dad it’s getting angry, he said we going to be late!” Greg, my little brother shouted from the kitchen.

“C’mon mummy, it’s time to go!” I said grabbing her hand

“Ohhh, okay then honey… anything you need you know that you can call to your dad or me or in your brother’s phone… ANYTHING, OKAY?? Mum said kissing my cheek.

“I know mum!, byeee!” I said waving in the front door.

My phone start to buzzing in my pocket and when I finally reached it I see this text from Emma:

“what? no parties baby! Mum will kill me if she found out! :L- S x”

 

 

“Hey, calm down girlie! It’s just our group..nothing much! :D –E x”

“well, okay then, OUR GROUP! Haha – S x”

 

“lol, tonight at 8pm, prepare the sleeping bags! :D lmfao – E x”

 

Gabi’s P.O.V

I’m wearing a black vest top, white shorts and my old converse.

Its summer and it’s quite warm today.

I hear the doorbell and when I open there he was… With his curls perfectly falling over his greeny-blue eyes, a huge grin in his face and … aviator sunglasses!!

“Urgh! Gawwdd Harry!! I hate these glasses!” I said pulling the glasses of his face.

“Gabiii! How rude! I like these, and you know that!” He said frustrated but at the same time chuckling a little.

“I know, but I think you look better without them!”

“Well, but you can’t do that! I don’t like this shorts but I don’t say anything when you wear them!” He said chuckling.

“What? Why?” I asked surprised, because Harry never comments anything about my clothes and well… my shorts are brand new and quite cute to be honest!

“I think you look better without them!” He said taking back his glasses from my hands.

“Harry!! You pervert!” I said punching his arm.

After a while walking we already can see the trees and the green grass of the park.

We walk a little more and find a seat next to an old tree. I close my eyes for a while…The sun felt so good over my skin.

“So girl who don’t like my glasses…what you thinking?” Harry asked chuckling.

“Nothing much, just enjoying the sun …perv boy!” I giggled

“Okay then…” He said and an awkward silence took over, which is quite weird because since I know Harry we never had awkward silences!! He always has some topic to speak!!

“If I tell you something, you promise that you won’t laugh?” He asked looking to the green grass.

“Of course I won’t laugh! I never do, curly!” I said chuckling

He sighed and after a minute or two started to talk again.

“Well… I think I’m in love!” He said nervously grinning

I thought I heard wrong, well… at least I hoped I did. Words never hurt so much like this before and desperation took over my body.

“R-Really? Who is she? Do I know her?” I asked trying to hide my pain.

“Well… I’m not gonna say who she is yet, because I don’t know if she likes me too…” he said still looking to the grass.

“But… Do I know her?” I asked not knowing how to react.

“Well… Yeah, I think you do know her!” he replied

“And… how is she?” I asked now looking to his face.

“She’s… beautiful!” He grinned “She has big eyes, she’s funny, smart, she has long dark brown hair, she’s so cute and… well, she’s just amazing for words!!” He said with a huge grin in his face.

Maybe I should tell her…

And if I tell her and she say that she don’t like me?! Or worse, if she stop talking with me and I lose her friendship?!

Yeah, I shouldn’t!

I don’t want to sound like a slag or something, but… Well, I know loads of girls who would love to hang out with me! But none of them are Gabi…

“So girl who don’t like my glasses…what you thinking?”I asked.

“Nothing much, just enjoying the sun… perv boy!”She grinned

While she was stood there with her eyes closed and the sun light hitting on her face, the only thing that I could think was how beautiful she is! Her dark brown hair was fallen in her back and a warm breeze slowly shook her hair.

I know how this sounds creep but all I want to do now is kiss and hug her!

Chapter 10

Gabi’s P.O.V

I’m feeling like crap (again) and the only thing I want to do is lie in my bed and cry my eyes out! But I can’t…

Zayn is probably almost coming and after ‘whatever we going to do’ I gotta go to Shelby’s house.

After a long shower I pack a bag for my stuff…Pajamas, my toothbrush, clean clothes…When I heard the door bell go…. Urgh! It must be Zayn and I’m still in towel!! Great!!!

I quickly dress a t-shirt and a pair of shorts and run downstairs, when I reach the door there he was…perfectly smiling to me.

“Hey!” he said grinning

“Hello” I said “I’m sorry, but can you hold on for 5 minutes? I’m gonna put some… better outfit” I said grinning

“Oh,okay but I think you look nice in this outfit, just to let you know!”he chuckled

“Uh..no, you don’t get it, I was in the shower and when you knocked the door I was still in towel, so…I don’t think it’s that ’nice’ ha-ha!” I said chuckling

“Oh..Haha, okay …”He said embarrassed

Me… awkward?? Pffttt… not at all!!

A few minutes later I’m finally ready. I’m wearing a white top matched with a floral skirt and tights.

“I’m ready now!” I said

“Wow! You’re pretty!!”He grinned making me blush

“Uh…Thank you!” I said looking to my feet embarrassed.

“What you’re up to do then?” He asked

“Well, we need to go to Shelby’s house at 8 pm… so we have 2 hours free!” I grinned

“Okay, so we can watch a DVD or something, what do you think?”He asked

“Yeah, sound good for me…” I said sitting on the floor and trying to find a good movie in my collections of DVDs.

After a while going through my DVD’s I find ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ Yummy… such great movie!! Ha-ha

We sat at the couch and after 30 or 45 minutes of movie I wasn’t paying a lot of attention. I was quite bored to be honest and I can’t stay that comfortable when I’m alone with Zayn. And I think that maybe he noticed this, because he started to look more to me than to the movie.

“You’re hungry?” I asked trying to break up that awkward moment.

“not really…”he replied grinning

“Well…I think I’m gonna get something to eat” I said making my way to the kitchen.

Zayn’s P.O.V

It’s so embarrassed how awkward she gets when I’m around.

I don’t want to push her to anything but I think I should ask her… I mean, I need to know, right?

“Hey, I’m back!” She said taking her sit next to me.

“Gabi…can I ask you something?” I said looking at her eyes.

“Yeah…” she replied quickly

“uh…that ‘thing’ that happened yesterday at Mat’s party…” I said trying not to look at her face now. “Did you regretted or something?”

Gabi’s P.O.V

“Uh…I…no, I mean… why are you asking me this?” my words hardly came out of my mouth.

“I just want to know because, well…I thought that we were okay, but then you avoided me the rest of the night and…you know…” He said

“I-I know …I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to… I just… I’m sorry!” Great, I really love how I stammer when I ‘m nervous!

“Hey… It’s okay!” He said grabbing my hand and squeezing it a little bit. “ I didn’t mean to put you in a awkward situation, I was just curious about …”He said grinning .

His smile is so perfect and damn…He smells so good!

Wait, what?! Oh my God, look what you’re thinking! I blink fast trying to make my thoughts to disappear when I feel my phone buzzing… I hand it off quickly and when I unlocked I see this from Emma:

“Gabi, where the heck are you and Zayn?! - Ex “

“Oh shit!!” I said loud “We are late for Shelbs!”

I grab my bag and I put my phone inside when I feel a grip in my arm.

“But before we go, can I ask you another thing?” he asked almost whispering.

“Yeah…” I replied.

“So I was thinking that maybe we could repeat that thing that we did yesterday!” he asked with a small grin forming on his lips.

When he finished to say the only thing that I could think was about Harry and what he said to me earlier … that he’s in love and stuff. But I can’t kiss a boy while I’m in love with another! Well… at least Zayn likes me, what Harry wont never do… I’m not the type of girl that he fancies and there are loads of prettier girls throwing themselves all over him!

Oh God! My head it’s burning! I close my eyes trying to make those thoughts to disappear.

“Gabi..” He said quite confused but still waiting for the answer.

I open my eyes and lean in closing the gap between us. I wrapped my arms around his neck and slowly kissed him; he put his arms around my waist and kissed back.

Harry’s P.O.V

“Louis, I told her!” I said to Louis while we were alone in Shelby’s living room

“You told what to whom?” He asked confused

“Gabi… I told her, that.. You know…” I said quite embarrassed

“Ohhhh, wow! Finally! And what she said?” He asked grinning

“Well, she just asked who is the girl and stuff” I said looking to the floor.

“Hold on, Harry … are you talking about the same thing as me?!” he asked more confused now

“Uh… well. I told her that maybe I’m fancying someone but I didn’t said who”

“What? Oh my God, Harry! You’re such a coward!” He said laughing

I sighed and said “I’ll tell her!”

“When?” he asked still laughing

“Maybe tonight…” I replied feeling butterflies in my stomach, isn’t that a girl thing?!

“Okay guys, I think we should start without them!”Emma said walking to the room.

“Why they are so late? They are together?” Dani asked

“Yeah, I texted Zayn earlier and he said that he were be at Gabi’s house and then they would come together “ Niall said bringing some food

“What he was going to do in her house?” I asked confused

“Well… I don’t know” Niall said taking a sit next to Louis

“C’mon guys, last night they talked all night andddd… one time they both disappeared!”Emma said

I felt the jealousy taking care my body and Louis looking at me like if he could hear what I was thinking.

“Hey guys…I’m sorry!! We’re late!”I heard a voice coming towards the front door. It was Gabi and Zayn a few steps behind her.

“HELLO YOU!” Emma shouted.

She looked straight at me and smiled awkward.

“Okay, so now we can start!” Emma said grinning. She goes to the kitchen and returns with a bottle in their hand.

“Uh.. Emma… why you’re with an empty bottle in your hands??” Liam asked chuckling

“Because we are going to play… Truth or Dare!” She chuckled

“Shelb, you go first!!” She said looking at Shelby then she winked to Gabi and Dani

I bet that I know what they are planning!

We sat in a circle and Shelby awkwardly spins the bottle, after spinning for like ten times it stops in Dani.

Oh guys, I forgot to say that it can be a mix of games! Right Dani?” Emma said chuckling

Wait, what you mean?”Shelby asked quite nervously

Well.. I dare you to go in a ‘7 minutes in heaven’ with… umm… Niall!!”Dani chuckled

“What??” Naill said almost choking on a coke that he had just taken.  

“Guys, what kind of psycho game is this?? I won’t do that!” Shelby said.

“Why not??” Niall asked surprising all of us.

“I.. uh… you don’t want to do that either, right?!”

“If someone dared me… yeah, I would!” Niall said looking to the floor.

“Only if someone dared you??” Shelby said quite offended.

At this time a awkward silence took over and Emma , Dani and Gabi didn’t stop to look at each other.

“OKAY, it’s a dare! You guys have to do!” Emma said grabbing Shelby’s waist and forcing her to enter at her own storage cupboard while Dani did the same with Niall with Liam’s help.

“7 minutes left guys! We’ll just… Yeah…leave you to it!” Emma shouted.

“Emma… I think you overdid a little!” Gabi said

“Oh my God Emma, she will kill us!!” Dani agreed

“For God sake guys, you’re such a wimp! We are helping them!” Emma said

Only the girls talked and the rest of us were just sat there watching their conversation.

Niall’s P.O.V

I didn’t mean to be rude or anything!! I just…

Urgh! The girls are obviously doing this on purpose!

I like Shelby! A lot! She’s the smarter, funnier, and prettier girl that I‘ve ever met!

And now she’s thinking that I don’t want to kiss her!

HOW AWKWARDLY STUPID CAN I BE SOMETIMES??!

Shelby’s P.O.V

“You don’t need to do this if you don’t want to Niall!” I said embarrassed looking to my feet.

“I-I didn’t mean to say that Shelb! You know that, right?”Naill said grabbing my hand.

“Don’t worry, I’m used how awkward things always happens with me!” I said leaving my hand free.

“I’m sorry again!” He said looking to my greeny-blue eyes.

“It’s okay” I said.

No one said anything for a while; we just stood there looking at each others eyes. My heart was pounding so fast that I think he could hear!

He came closer to me and pulled a piece of my blond hair behind my ear and came closer like if he was in slow motion. I could feel his breath on my cheek, so I feel a pair of soft lips touching on mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he did the same parking his hands on my hips bringing me closer to him.

After a few minutes kissing I pulled away to see a very happy Niall with a huge grin on his face.

“I really want to do this again!” He said smiling

“Whoa… hold on Irish boy! This is the first time we kissed and you’re already thinking on the next!” I said laughing

“Of course!” He grinned

He grabbed my hand and we open the door to find three happy girls listening behind the door.

I slowly slide my hand from his and took a sit next to Emma who was already on the couch. Niall did the same sitting next to the boys.

He looked at me and gives me a cute smile which made my face burn even more.

“So… who’s next??” Niall asked

“Nah… This game is boring! Let’s do another thing!” Emma said making everyone laugh out loud.

Chapter 11

Gabi’s P.O.V

Everything seems okay now, at first I was quite worried with Emma’s big plan to get Shelby and Niall together, but I think she did it well! ha-ha

Shelby looks so happy and everyone it’s laughing and making jokes.

“Gabi, can I talk with you?” Harry asked with a serious expression on his face.

“Yeah…” I replied

We walk forward to Shelb’s garden but before we could reach the door I hear Zayn calling my name, I look over my shoulder and walk towards him. He looks at me and gently put his hands on my cheek making my face closer to his. He leans in and softly kisses me making me and everyone there surprised.

I was quite angry. He shouldn’t have done that, not in front of everyone, not in front of…. Harry! I look back to Harry but he’s not there anymore! Wait, where’s him? He said that he needs to talk with me …

“oioi so I think we got more than one new couple tonight uhh??” Emma shouted.

I give her a look and go out trying to find Harry.

“Hey!! Where are you going?” I shouted but he ignored me.

“HARRY!!!” I reach him and quickly pull his arm making him stop.

“WHAT?” He shouts at me. I could feel the anger in his voice “LET ME GO ALRIGHT?!”

“What the fuck is your problem??” I asked confused

“None of your business!” He turned around and started to walk again

“Hey, don’t talk with me like that, you said that you wanted to talk with me and now you’re acting like a child?!For God sake harry!”

“Like a child?? You have no idea why I’m acting like this so shut up!”

“I don’t know because you don’t want to tell me! Urgh! I thought we were friends!”

“HAHA friends!!” He said sarcastically at this point a pouring rain begins to fall.

“What? Yeah Harry BEST FRIENDS! You’re the only person who knows every little thing about me and I thought that I also knew about you!”

“Obviously that I don’t know you that well, what you’re doing with Zayn? I thought we were best friends!!”

“WHAT? I’m with him for like 15 minutes! How I was supposed to tell you that?!”

“15 minutes and he already kisses you like if you were his girlfriend!”

“WHY DO YOU CARE?”

“I CARE BECAUSE I FUCKING LOVE YOU!”

“What?!”  

“I love you; I love you since the first time we met! I love your laugh, I love your hair, I love your eyes, I love how you can’t sing, I love you so much that sometimes it’s hard to breathe!!” He said while a tear fell down his face.

“Why…Why you never told me that?” I asked feeling my heart freezing, the rain was cold and heavy and I couldn’t believe in what he was telling me

“I was afraid… and today, I was about to say to you that … But then Zayn kissed you!”

“Harry… I-I thought that you was in love with that girl from the party!”

“What? No! It was you, it always was you!”

I felt tears pouring down my face, mixed with the cold rain.

“Gabi… Why are you crying?? “He said coming close to me. His hair was all wet and his eyes was blue shining like I’ve never seen before

I didn’t say anything I just wrapped my arms around his neck leaving a warm passionate kiss on his lips. When I pulled away the only thing I could think was that things couldn’t get any better!  

His hands were around my waist and he was looking deep inside my eyes “I’ll never let you cry because of me again.. I promise!!”

Chapter 12

Harry’s P.O.V

I was there under the pouring rain holding her in my arms for what feel like hours.

Her long dark brown hair it’s all wet and her skin felt so cold. Her face it’s pressing against my chest and I could feel her heart beating fast.

I wasn’t even caring about the rain anymore. I just wished that this moment could last forever!

“I’m freezing!” She said pulling her head away and looking to my face

“I think we should go back to Shelbs!” I said

“Yeah we should!” She grinned, her smile was just amazing for words and even all wet and with her mascara down all over her face she looked so pretty with the rain falling on her face.

Niall’s P.O.V

I can’t believe that I kissed Shelb! I’m just feeling the luckiest boy on earth! Haha

“Niall, can I talk with you?” Shelby asked

“Yeah” I replied with a huge grin on my face.

We walked to the kitchen and when we reached the table she took a sit as I did the same.

“I’m worried with Gabi!” She said looking quite concerned

“Why?” I asked confused

“I can’t tell you, but I need your help, I can’t find her and she let her phone in my room” she said worried

“Hey, it’s everything okay, she’s with Harry!” I said pulling a piece of her blonde hair behind her ear

“I know, but ….”

“Relax, sweetie, she’s okay!” I said pulling her into a hug “You know what? You’re the best friend that Gabi could find! Haha” I said kissing her forehead.

Harry’s P.O.V

When we reached Shelby’s house we quickly opened the front door laughing soaking the entire floor.

“Oh my God Gabi, where have you been??” Shelby shouted to us.

“Shelb… sorry we were….” Gabi tried to speak but she stills laughing

“We are dating!” I said interrupting her

“What??” Shelby asked surprised

“HARRY!” Gabi shouted hitting my arm. “Waittt! We are?” she asked confused

“Yeah, silly of course we are!” I said putting my arms around her waist and pulling her close to me to give a softly kiss on her lips.

“What’s happening here??” Zayn said angrily

“Oh my God Zayn, I can explain!” Gabi said nervously

“Alright, then tell me Gabi, why you kissed Harry??!” Zayn said walking towards us.

Gabi looked at me and judging by the panic look on her face she didn’t knew what to say.

“Hold on Zayn, I’ll explain everything to you” I said

“Then EXPLAIN Harry! Explain to me why the heck my best friend was kissing my girlfriend!!” He shouted

“Wait Zayn… I’m not your girlfriend!” Gabi said

“Oh you’re not? So you usually kiss all the boys that you know just like you did with me and Harry?? Who’s the next then? Liam??Louis? Be careful Shelby, or she’ll friendly kiss Niall too!!”

“Hey, what the fuck is your problem?? Don’t talk with her like that!” I said pushing him against the wall

“Or what??” He said doing the same.

“Harry please, stop!” Gabi said grabbing my arm

“Hey guys stop!” Niall said entering the room with the rest of the group

“Zayn please, let me explain!” Gabi said almost crying

“Whatever…” He said “I just didn’t expect that from you!” He said to Gabi and ran upstairs.

Zayn’s P.O.V

“C’mon dude! Open the door” Louis shouted thru the door

“Louis shut up! I’m okay, can you leave me alone PLEASE?!” I shouted back

“Seriously mate, I’m your friend, let’s talk!” Louis insisted

“Oh for God sake, alright Louis!” I said opening the door “There, what you want??!”

“Hey, easy mate…I’m just trying to help you!” he said entering in the room and closing the door.

“I don’t need help” I said taking a sit in the edge of the bed

“She’s not okay either…” He said taking a sit next to me

“Who?!”

“Gabi, she’s locked in the bathroom for ages”

“I don’t care” I said looking to the floor

“Mate, you gotta let her explain what happened to you!”

“Explain what? That the girl I like kissed my best friend?”

“Harry really likes her”

“He knows her for ages and just now when I’m finally with her he decides to show his crush?!” I said lifting of the bed

“Zayn, isn’t like if you were already in love with her! You guys just started go out, get over it!” Louis said sarcastically

“How can you say something like that?!Harry isn’t the only one who’s allowed to have feelings, did you know that?!” I shouted angrily

“Hey mate… Calm down… Wait…so do you really like her?!” he asked quite surprised

“None of your business!” I shouted and walked out of the room closing the door behind me

I go downstairs and when I reach the living room I see Gabi cuddled in Harry’s arms

Urgh! That’s so unfair, why everyone keep telling me to get over, that I’m making too much drama, I mean… I’m not the wrong guy here, Harry kissed my girl and everyone’s acting like if were the opposite

“Zayn, did you heard me??” Shelby asked frustrated

Behind her Gabi was standing looking at me, Harry was still in the couch and I couldn’t see the rest of the boys who probably were in the kitchen

“Do you know what? Alright! I’m gonna GET OVER IT! I’m gonna stop with my vain little drama! Because I don’t have the right to feeling injured by those two! She’s not my girlfriend and I don’t have any feelings by her anyways, I just thought that she was a little pretty and I just wanted to have some fun! Because that’s how I act, right?! I’m such a douche bag and I’m completely different from Harry, who’s the ‘perfect boyfriend’!! And you wanna know more?? I think you’re pretty Shelby!”

“What??” She asked confused

I pulled her closer to me and angrily kissed her lips; she quickly pulled away and slapped my face, making my cheeks burn so hard, but I wasn’t bothered by the pain, I just wanted some revenge!

“What the heck are you doing Zayn??!”

“Zayn? What’s happening here?” Niall asked

“I just kissed your girl, but don’t take that too serious, right Harry?” I said sarcastically

“WHAT?” Niall shouted angrily

“Niall wait!” Shelby said pulling his arm

“Whatever” I sighed and walked towards Gabi, she didn’t anything, she just stood there without moving a muscle, I leaned in and whispered in her ear “And in the end of the day…you aren’t even that pretty!” and I walked to the front door to get out of that house!

Gabi’s P.O.V

“You didn’t talk since what happened” Harry said

“There’s nothing left to say” I said almost whispering

“Are you sure that you don’t want to stay in Shelb’s? We could stay together” He said

“No Harry, tonight were a awful night and I just wanna lie in my bed and sleep!” I said

“Alright, I…. will see you tomorrow?” He asked trying not to show how worried he was, but I know him too well to realize that!

“I don’t know, I’ll text you later though” I said closing the door and lifting him in the sidewalk

I sit in my couch and … well… I’m blank, I mean… I can really feel anything or maybe I’m with mixed feelings and It’s so awful, I’m feeling so bad for Zayn, I mean.. me and Harry seems so wrong right now but Zayn’s words… not the real meaning of them but the way that he said, the angry in his voice, I could feel his heart breaking, he seemed so mad and broken at the same time.. I just… I don’t know what to do, I really don’t!

Chapter 14

Shelby’s P.O.V

“I don’t think this party worked very well” Emma said sitting on the couch next to Louis.

“Oh, seriously Emma?!” Liam said sarcastically making everyone laugh.

“I think we should all go home guys!” Niall said with a serious expression on his face.

“No, what? Guys I know that this was such a drama night but even though they are our friends but this is a Harry/Gabi/Zayn thingy , which means that it’s a stuff that only they can fix, therefore I think we should stay here and chill because… C’mon, we’re already here right?” I grinned.

“That’s right Shelb, Let’s partayyyyy, becaaauuse tomorrow will be such a long day with those three!” Emma laughed. She sounded like drunk even that she didn’t has drank anything with alcohol. Well… that’s my crazy hipster friend!

After a few minutes Niall goes to the kitchen and go after him…

“What’s wrong?” I asked

“Nothing “He replied quite rude

“Are you sure?” I asked again trying to figure out why he was so moody.

“Yeah, I mean … No! Don’t you think that we were a bit too much supportive with Gabi and Harry?!”

“Ermm, no actually I don’t think, why are you saying that?”

“I mean, Harry kissed Gabi and she was already going out with Zayn , don’t you think that YOUR FRIEND provoked that? “

“Niall, she’s also your friend! Why are you talking like this about Gabi?!” I asked confused

“Maybe people aren’t like we thought they are”

“Niall, what the heck are you talking about?!”

“Well… What about you Shelby? Would you do something like that?”

“WHAT?! Niall, I’m don’t liking this conversation, seriously, if you’ll keep speaking bullshit about my friend and me, then BYE!”I said making my way to the living room

“Niall, he was just trying to make Gabi feel jealous!” I grabbed his hand

I’m sat in the couch for ages watching the TV and dressed with my pink pajamas.

I didn’t went to school today; I’m avoiding the drama provoked by myself.

Suddenly I hear someone opening the front door; I look over my shoulders to see my dad with loads of bags almost dropping everything on the floor.

“Hey dad, I thought that you would come home just at Wednesday!”I said walking towards him to help with the bags.

“Hey honey, oh… I was quite homesick!”He grinned

“Yeah, right” I said sarcastically

“Wait, you were supposed to be in school right now, right?!”

“Ermm, yeah, but I wasn’t feeling that good today, I think I might be PMS or something…”I lied

“Oh, alright” He said embarrassed which made me laugh.

I sat in the couch and watched more TV for hours, my dad was sleeping in his room and I was more alone than never.

I feel my phone buzzing, I unlocked and it’s a Harry’s text, another!

“Gabi„ please answer my texts, I’m getting worried!”

He stopped with the usual ‘-H x’ 13 texts ago.

Oh… I feel so bad ignoring him but …well; I just want to hide in my house and never go out anymore!

Harry’s P.O.V

“Harry do you have a pen?” Louis asked

“Harry…HARRY!!” He shouted

“Hey…What?”I asked confused

“A pen?” He repeated

“Ermm, no sorry” I said annoyed

“Dude are you okay?” he said grinning

“Yeah…it’s just…Gabi”

“She didn’t reply any of your texts?”

“No…”I sighed

“Mr Malik, we have rules of timetables here in this school! Did you know that?” Mrs. Stevens said quite loud making everyone in class look to the door where Zayn was standing with a moody face

He walked to a empty seat and threw his bag at the floor angrily

“Don’t worry, he’ll be fine too!”Louis said

Gabi’s P.O.V

I’m tired of being here locked in this house the whole day! I can’t stay here forever, I’m not allowed to run of my problems, I wish, but I’m don’t!

I can’t just appear in people’s life and destroy friendships like this, I’m a awful person. I feel … so shamed with I’ve done

Zayn will never talk with me again and Harry… Well…I don’t even know if he will want to be my friend after all this situation!

URGH! I gotta fix everything! But how?!

I look at the clock and school it’s almost finishing I ran upstairs to have a shower and quickly put a random outfit

While I go downstairs as fast as I could my dad shouted something from his room but I was way too worried to listen so I just replied with a “yeah dad!”

On my way the only thing that I could think was about what I was going to say when I meet him.

“Hi, Zayn is in home?” I asked quite scared and already regretting what i was about to do

“No sorry sweet, he went to the mall with his sister” She said

“Oh alright then ” I sighed. Maybe it’s better. I shouldn’t come here anyways.

“But if you want to wait for him, I don’t think he’ll take too long!”

“Erm… No that’s okay. I text him later, thanks anyways” I grinned and started to walk but before I could reach the sidewalk I see Zayn with a brunette girl.

Chapter 15 

Gabi’s P.O.V

I don’t know if I frozen or something but I waited him to reach me to say anything

“Hey…” I said almost whispering

“What you want?” He asked without even looking to my face

“I want to talk with you” I said looking to the floor.

“No” He said and kept walking .I grabbed his arm making him stop

“Seriously Zayn, I know that I was wrong and that you don’t want to talk with me anymore but I really need to talk with you, I mean now!”

He looked at me and I could feel the angry in his eyes, he turned to his sister and told her to enter with the bags from the mall. Wow, she’s actually so pretty!

“Alright, where you want to go?” He asked

“Uh… I don’t know…” I replied awkwardly

“You can speak here then?” he asked frustrated

“No I can’t”

“Alright let’s go to my room then” He said impatiently

As we entered to his house his mum came to talk with him “Hey honey, I see that you found your friend” She grinned

“Yeah” He replied

“So, do you want something to drink… uh… what’s you name dear?” she asked

“I’m Gabi and no thanks Mrs. Malik “I smiled

“Oh Gabi, so you’re the famous Gabi!” She chuckled

“Famous?” I asked confused

“Yeah, there are a few days that Zayn can’t stop talking about you! I’m glad that I finally found my future daughter in law!” She chuckled

I looked at Zayn and judging by his face he was about to kill someone. And this ‘one’ was probably me.

“Mum! We’re going to my room!” He said grabbing my arm and pulling me upstairs. He just let go of my arm after we reached his room.

He grabbed my arm with so much strength that my skin was quite red now.

“What you want?” He said quite frustrated

“Zayn.. I .. “I sighed. That was going to be really harsh for me to say.

“Okay, here’s the thing Zayn… I’m sorry, I’m sorry if I broke your heart!” omg, I can’t believe what I just said, how awkward that is… I don’t break hearts…

“ HAHA” he laughed sarcastically “ Seriously?!”

“I mean… sorry, I’m quite nervous alright??!” I said taking a sit on the edge of his bed and hiding my face in my hands.

“ Gabi…” I heard him saying almost whispering.

I look to him and seems like he wants to say something but he’s too cocky to say something like “that’s alright” or “I’m not gonna be this cocky guy and just understand how things happened and nothing is your fault”. Yeah… Maybe I’m asking too much here…But isn’t like if he’s a rude lad but is just they way he is and I understand that.

“Okay Zayn… “I said lifting of his bed. “I’m sorry… just I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to do anything that I did. I.. when I moved to here three months ago I wasn’t in a good moment of my life, me and my dad , we don’t talk that much so my mum thought that if we spend a little time together that would be good. And I knew Harry, he was so cute with me, and he was my first friend here, but then I started to like him more than I should. I knew that I’d never had a chance with him because … well.. He’s Harry. Actually I never thought that would have a chance with you neither…”

“Gabi…” He interrupted me.

“Let me finish please. “ I said and keep spoken “I was alright with being just his friend but then when he told me that he was in love with some girl my heart was broken and I’ve never felt a pain so huge and when I thought I was alone, and feeling the ugliest girl in this world you appeared. You made me smile when I was so sad and you were there when no one else were. Zayn this whole night I kept thinking about what I would do when I met you. And I finally made my decision, I like you.. A lot. But when you kissed Shelby I didn’t felt anything, when Harry kissed that girl it was like if my world was fallen apart. So I’m sorry… Maybe if I didn’t knew Harry… I’m almost sure that I would fall for you, but I can’t Zayn… because I’m already in love with him… “I finished and took a deep breath. He was looking to the floor avoiding eye contact with me. So I walked a few steps towards him and grabbed his hand

“So please, tell me we can be friends?” I said looking to his eyes, even though he still was avoiding do the same.

He looked to my eyes and said “ Yeah”

I hugged him tight but before I could move he whispered in my ear “but… can I have a goodbye kiss?” I felt shivers in my spin but I leaned in and left a kiss on his lips.

But not as before in Shelb’s house… It was more passionate and lovely, maybe because he knew that it was the last time.

So after a few minutes, we stood there talking about anything and everything like good friends and like if all that earlier drama wasn’t happened. So I remember about Harry and how I was ignoring his texts the whole day. I said goodbye to Zayn and went down the street, looking forward to Harry’s house. 

 Chapter 16

Harry’s P.O.V

I don’t understand why is she ignoring my texts and my calls, she’s just.. Completely avoiding me! I mean… It’s not her fault all that drama that happened, isn’t my fault either.. But she isn’t talking with me. Which is making me feel so freaking bad, like … If I’m about to lose her.

I pick my phone and text her one more time, but I don’t think she’ll reply this one either…

“Haaarrryyyyyy!” I hear my mum calling me from downstairs “Gabi’s here!”

I ran downstairs and when I reach the living room there she was next to my mum, dressed with the black t-shirt that I gave to her when we went to that music festival. Her dark brown hair was tied up in a ponytail and she seems so pretty, like usual, I must say!

“Hey” She said simple

“Hey… ermm, why you didn’t went to school today?” I asked trying not to show how anxious and scared I am.

“I needed to think” she said looking to the ground

“Think?” I asked more scared now.

“Yeah.. ermm, can we talk about, you know… us?” She said still avoiding looking to my face

“Yeah.. you wanna go to the park or something?”

“Yeah, that’s okay for me” She said and started to walk.

We walked for a couple of minutes in silence. What was killing me slowly

I tried more than once hold her hand but she was avoiding any contact with me. I couldn’t take that anymore, she can’t do that with me… It’s not even my fault what happened. Why she’s even mad with me?

So I stop and grab her arm making her do the same.

“For goodness sake Gabi, what happened? What I did to you? I can’t keep pretending that everything it’s okay because it’s not!” I shouted to her

She looked at me quite scared and said almost whispering “I’m not blaming you for anything!” Her voice was so sweet and calm that made me regrets what I just did.

“Sorry…” I said looking to the floor, I’m embarrassed and at the same time scared. Ugh, I hate this feeling!

“Harry…” She said and grabbed my hand. “I’m sorry for avoiding you today… I just… I had to think about everything and I needed to fix what happened, so I went to Zayns house and… Well… we talked, and it’s everything okay now… at least I guess so and… No worries, your friend are still your friend! “She grinned

“He’s not mad with me anymore?” I asked confused

“He wasn’t mad with you, he was mad with me and now it’s everything back to normal”

“Erm… But… What about us?”

“Uh… Yeah, well… I need to tell you something before, and that’s pretty much why I was avoiding you since we started to make our way to the park”

“Yeah..?”

“So like I said… I went to Zayn’s and… We are all okay, and to be honest I wasn’t expecting that he would forgive me but… I said to him everything and… Well to make the long story short… He asked me a goodbye kiss and … well, I kissed him, and I don’t want to lie to you or anything so I’m telling you this … I know we don’t have a relationship or anything but… I needed to tell you that… I’m sorry, but I did what I thought was right at that moment so… that’s it…”  

Her words hit I like a train, but I needed to take a deep breath before I say anything because… I can’t blame her… Half of this drama story is my fault; I’ve never had the guts to say to her how much I loved her.

“Gabs… I love you and I don’t care what happened, I trust in you and I believe in you!” I grabbed her waist and pulled her close to me.

She smiled and said looking to the ground “So I’m your girlfriend then?”

“After all this drama, of course your silly!” I chuckled and pulled her to a passionate kiss. 

Chapter 17 

Gabi’s P.O.V

The days that passed were the best ever, after all that drama everything was back to normal again, and our crew was finally together like always! Well, except for the fact that I was dating Harry… my best friend… Oh God who would think that?!

I know how cliché this sounds but Harry is like.. the cutest boyfriend in the world! He’s always around making jokes and being the usual cheeky curly. And if you want to know something… having your best friend like your boyfriend is such an awesome thing!

“Hey Gabs” Harry said hugging me by my waist

“Hey you” I said kissing his check

“So guys what’s up?” He said with his hands around my waist

“Not a lot, just your girlfriend being the usual weirdo!” Shelby said laughing

“Hey!!” I shouted to her

“She’s weirdo, but is a cutie weirdo!” Harry said grinning and making all the girl and Louis say awwwhhh and rest of the boy’s ewwww 

“Well, she wants to go to a party dressed like a carrot, please tell her this is an awful idea!” Shelby insisted

“Why do you want to go to a party dressed like a carrot?” Harry asked confused making me laugh

“Excuse me… It’s a fancy dress party and like Louis girlfriend don’t want to dress like one I’ll be his carrot partner!”

“Fancy dress party? “he said laughing

“Alright maybe, this girl here wants to dress like a proper costume!” Emma said rolling his eyes

“Oh God, I don’t want to make you guys to argue, I’ll go dressed like something else then… maybe leprechaun?” I chuckled

“Hey, my boyfriend will dress like a leprechaun and I don’t think his girlfriend will like of another girl dressed like a female leprechaun though!” Shelby chuckled

“Oh, I think I don’t have a costume then!” I sarcastically said making a sad face.

“Oh baby, we can match our costumes then!” Harry said grinning

“Yeah… Well, maybe” I grinned

“Oh, evil!” he punched my arm with absolutely no strong. He’s too cute.

Zayn’s P.O.V

I just can’t stand there and watch Gabi with Harry acting like a couple and pretend that nothing happened between us. She used to be my girlfriend and even though everyone thinks that it was just a ‘thingy’ I really can’t stop thinking about her.

It just makes me so mad that everyone acts like if I didn’t have any feelings. Is all about couples in that group now and I’m honestly getting tired.

“So, when we will get our costumes?” Shelby asked.

“Probably when everyone choose one!”  Liam said

“Well, why we just go to a store and there we choose which we’ll wear?” Gabi suggested

“Okay” everyone agreed

“What about you Zayn?”  Emma asked

“erm, yeah, is fine for me!” I said and looked to Gabi; she quickly turned her eyes to the other way. We talked about being friends but its all bullshit, she never talked with me properly since that day and I honestly feel that she try her best to not being alone with me.

Gabi’s P.O.V

“Hey, I thought you weren’t coming!” Shelby shouted

“Sorry, I got lost!” I said awkwardly

“Are you seriously? But is near of your house!” she shouted laughing

“I know! But I’m new in this town alright?” I shouted back

“Haha okay, let’s go see which costume will you wear” she said grabbing my hand and taking me to the store

She gave me an amount of dresses and other stuff that I can’t even tell what it was and I started to change my clothes.

The first one was a witch dress and that was… Well… Too sexy for a girl like me! Lol

“Gabs, get out of there, I want to see you!” Shelby shouted

“Oh, hold on this witch one is not for me at all!” I said laughing

“C’mon, I want to see it!” she shouted

“No!”” I shouted back but she kept laughing and shouting from the door so I just opened the door and waked towards her.

“WOW”, she said and started to laugh. That was definitely not for me. It’s a black dress really short and well… too much skin showing.

“Okay, let’s try another one less… stripper type!” I said sarcastically

Chapter 18

Zayn’s P.O.V

“Hey mate, already chose which costume you will wear?” Harry asked sitting next to me.

“No, not yet” I simply replied

“The girls are already in the store, I think we also should go meet them” He said looking in his phone screen.

I simply nodded and followed him down the street.

We made our way in silence. You could actually fell the awkwardly between us, it was like if I couldn’t stare at him anymore without thinking in… her.

“ Heeeyyyy” Shelby screamed when she saw us

“Where are the rest of the girls?” Harry asked

“Gabi’s inside, Danni and Emma is either looking for something to eat… Like usual!” She chuckled

“Alright I think I finally decided which I’m gonna wear” Gabi said and walked through the door. She was wearing a green short dress and a pair of wings.

“What you guys think?” she asked shy

“Awh, you look a flawless little …green fairy!” Harry says chuckling

“I’m Tinkerbell!!” She said raising an eyebrow

“Oh, right!” he laughed

“Yay, Gabs, you look cute! Now my turn… You need to help me or I’ll have to dress like a leprechaun because of Niall and to be honest, I’m not looking forward to that!” Shelby said impatient and started to look for one costume between the racks of clothes

“I think I’ll try to search mine as well” Harry said leaving me and Gabi in silence trying not to look to each other and at the same time I was trying not to let her notice my gaze

“You won’t look for one too?” she awkwardly asked trying her best not to show how embarrassed she was with this whole ‘friendship’ situation

“Erm, yeah, maybe later… I don’t know what I’m gonna wear yet, so…” I replied

She just nodded

“You look cute dressed like Tinkerbell…” I said almost whispering and trying not to sound like a creep.

“Oh, thank you…” she replied embarrassed and suddenly everything was 98% more awkward than before. “Well, I might go help Shelb or she’ll take forever to pick one!” she said and walked towards Shelby.

Gabi’s P.O.V

I don’t like parties, I really don’t!

I’d rather stay in home and cook some cupcakes than go out to some party with people that I barely talk to. But I’m not allowed to say no to this party particularly. Shelby would kill me if that happened! And everyone goes so…

“Gabs, I’ll go home to take a shower and I’ll knock you about 7, okay?” Harry said playing with my fingers as we were chilling in the couch.

“That’s fine for me” I replied “Hey curly! You didn’t tell me which costume you picked!!” I said punching his arm

“Well, because that’s a surprise!” He grinned

“You’re annoying kid sometimes!” I said pretending to be mad with him.

“But you love this annoying dude, don’t you?!” He raised an eyebrow

“No I don’t “I said trying to contain my laugh

“Oh, aright then moody, I think this was not a good idea to pick the same bipolar girl to be my best friend and my girlfriend as well!”

“Ohhhh, go find a better girlfriend then!!”

“Oh… I hurt your feelings baby??!” He said chuckling and grabbed my cheeks “Come here baby cakes!” He pulled me close and kissed me softly in my lips.

“You’re so immature sometimes Mr. Styles!” I said laughing

“So are you Mrs. Styles!” he said making me cringe and a huge smile form in my lips. Well… I could get used to this surname! Haha

Chapter 19

Gabi’s P.O.V

I can’t believe that I’ve only took thirty minutes get ready for the party! That’s definitely a record!

Well, Thank you fancy dress party then, at least I didn’t need to take forever to pick a decent outfit which made everything easier! 

I go downstairs and sit in my couch waiting for Harry to knock my door like he said he will. After a few minutes I’m already dying of boredom and forever regretting for get invited for this party… well, actually I wasn’t invited because I’m super friends with the party owner, I’ve only received the invite because I’m dating Harry, ‘One of the most Popular Lads in that school!” *insert confetti and balloons* Hahaha

I laugh to my own thoughts, Jesus; I’m too fun for words! I think I should have a Tv show or something! Lol

I grab my phone and text Shelb, because that’s what I do when I’m bored, I text my bestie!

“Heeeyy gurl, you’re ready for the party? Lol – Gx”

I quickly receiv the reply:

“Not yet lol You? – S x”

“Yep, just waiting for Harry :P- Gx”

“Ohhhh, did you heard that Louis cousin will come to the party? I don’t like her though -_- She’s an annoying kid, Seriously! –S x”

“Omg Shelby you need to stop hating people! Haha 

Is she beautiful *le jealous* hahaha jk –G x”

“I don’t think she is, but oh well.. –S x”

I hear the doorbell; it might be Harry so I quickly reply back to Shelby and go open the door to find Harry stood there dressed like Peter Pan.

“A curly Peter Pan? That’s brand new for me!” I said laughing

“We’re matching babe!” He chuckled

“Yeah, I noticed!” I grinned “So… ready?”

“Yeah, just hold on, I have a thing that I want to give to you… “He said searching for something in his pockets

“Ermm, okay” I said confused

“Here “He said handing me something

“What is it?” I asked

“Just close your eyes Tinki…” He chuckled showing his dimples

“Okayyy…” I said and closed my eyes. Suddenly I feel a breeze in my face, I open my eyes and my hair is full of a bright dust. I look to Harry and he’s smiling like a cute child

“Harry… What is this?” I asked confused and a bit awkward

“PIXIE DUST!! “He shouted and started to laugh

“Oh my God Harry you’re so immature! “ I rolled my eyes and started to laugh

Emma P.O.V

 “So… Your cousin will live in your house for how long?” I asked raising an eyebrow

“She’ll just stay here for a while, till her mum find a house and stuff “Louis replied without even look at me. Boys… When they are playing videogame, nothing else matters!

“She knows that you have a girlfriend?” I asked sitting next to him

“Erm, yeah… I think so…”

“Louis! Can you please answer me properly?! Jesus!” I shouted making him jump in the couch

“What?! “ He shouted back making me laugh

“Your cousin, she knows you have a beautiful and flawless girlfriend, right?” I said making him laugh

“I don’t know, why you’re so concerned about it honey?” He sarcastically said

“Well, I was stalking her facebook and I honestly think she fancies you!”

“That was in her facebook?” He chuckled

“No, but you can see that in her eyes!” I said making frown

“Well, I’m sexy and I seduce the girls… I can’t help it! Sorry babs!” He laughed showing his biceps

“Shut up Mr. Carrot!” I said and went to the kitchen

Gabi’s P.O.V

“Where’s Shelby and the rest of the group?” I asked confused

“I don’t know, maybe they didn’t arrived yet” Harry replied wrapping his arms around my waist

“I don’t know half of this people and the other half hates me, so don’t you dare to live me alone till the girls arrive!” I said making an evil look to Harry

“Oh calm down girlfriend, I wont leave you… And nobody hates you, stop being silly!” He said grinning

“Yeah, course!”

“Vas Happenin’ guys!” Zayn shouted behind us. He was with Niall and Shelby.

Zayn was dressing a prince charming costume, Niall is dressed like a leprechaun (Surprise!) and Shelby is dressing a princess dress, I think she is Cinderella or something like that.

“Oh finally, guys!” I said in relief

“Gabs, Louis cousin is already here?” Shelby asked almost whispering

“Ermm, no… I don’t think so” I replied

“I don’t like that girl… at all!”

“Calm down girl… She can’t be that annoying!” I said chucking

“Yes, she is! Believe in me!” She said quite moody

“Alright then” I grinned

“Oh well, this party it’s quite boring!” Niall said

“Yeah, I’ll find something to drink!” Zayn said and started to walk towards the kitchen. Niall and Harry followed him.

“Hey girls!” Emma shouted. She was dressed like carrot and so was Louis who was behind her with a girl, probably his ‘famous’ cousin.

“Hey!!” Shelby and I said together.

“So girls, this is my cousin Brenna!” Louis said

“Nice too meet you Brenna, I’m Gabi” I said and she just smiled

“I’m Shelby, but you already knows that” Shelby said moody .

“Hey, so where’s the boy? I don’t talk with them since I came here in holydays last year!!” She asked grinning and Shelby next to me rolled her eyes making me grin.

Brenna is American, she lives in USA but apparently one of her parents got a new job so she’ll live here now. She’s definitely the popular type; she has bright blue eyes, and straight brown hair. She’s really pretty and apparently cheeky.

 I’m the only of the group that she doesn’t know… She used to spend her holydays in Louis house so everyone is already used to her. Well, everyone but Shelby!

“Oh Heey!” Brenna shouted as the boys walked in the room.

“Hey” Niall grinned and Zayn rolled his eyes

“I missed you guys so much!” She said and hugged each of them.

“How you doing Brenna?”  Harry asked

“I’m great! Moving to UK I’ll be able to hang out with you guys more often, right?” She said and poked Harry’s tummy

“Oh, By the way  … Harry, I’ve just realized that you’re matching with your GIRLFRIEND GABI!” Shelby said making me laugh

“I think everyone noticed that Shelb!” Zayn said sarcastically

“Ohh, so we have couples in the group now?” Brenna asked raising an eyebrow

“Yeah, Liam and Danni still together.   Lou and I started to date after you went back to the States, Niall and Shelb and Harry and Gabi just started dating” Emma said

“Oh, what about you Zayn.. Still waiting for me?” She said making him choke his drink.

“I’m just kidding silly!” She laughed making me and the rest of the boys laugh as well.

“Well, I’m single… And I’m not planning to stay in this situation for a long time, since almost everyone in the group is already taken” She grinned

“I thought you was waiting for me baby!” She said and poked Harry’s tummy once again but now I didn’t laughed together.

Harry looked straight to me and grinned awkwardly. I raise an eyebrow and faked a smile.

Well, I think Louis cousin and I will become best friends! *please insert sarcasm here*

Chapter 20

Gabi’s P.O.V

I’m not the kind of girl who gets jealous all the time, or is possessive! But honestly this Brenna girl is driving me insane!

At first I was okay with all her games and jokes but now she’s just stuck in Harry the whole night… Seriously! I’m just about to high five her face with a chair!

“Hey buddy!” Louis said as he took a sit next to me in the couch.

“Hey Lou” I simply replied

“What’s up, not enjoying the party?” He asked with a funny voice

“Oh, well… Let’s say that I’m not in the mood for parties tonight!” I replied to him but my eyes still in the constantly gaze to Harry and Brenna.

“Oh, that means you need to drink something then!” He said and went to somewhere, but I was too busy to notice

Holy shit, she just put her arms around his waist or am I seeing things?! I’m gonna kill that girl!

“Here it is!” Louis shouted before I could get up of the couch

“What ?” I asked confused

“Drink it!” He said handing me a glass of something that I have no idea what it was.

“Erm, no thanks Lou, I’m not really into alcohol!” I replied

“C’mon, just do it!” He insisted

“But Loui..”

“NOW!” He shouted making people stare at us

“Okay, okay… I said and started to drink it.

Harry’s P.O.V

Brenna suddenly is interest in me, last summer she was only eyes to Zayn and I honestly thought she liked him, but… Oh well… The summer before she was “in love” with Liam as well!

“Awn, babes, I didn’t get used to this England weather yet!” She said wrapping her arms around my waist. I sigh trying to pull her off in the nicest way that I could.

Don’t get me wrong, she’s really pretty and quite hot indeed but I’m not interest! And this whole situation will end up getting me in troubles with Gabi who I bet is already annoyed with me.

Gabi’s P.O.V

Oh Jesus, my head is properly spinning! I knew I shouldn’t drink all this stuff that Louis brought to me. I can’t even see people’s face

I guess I’m drunk and I have no Idea where’s Harry , I think I’ll end up going home alone! That’s awesome because I’m in high heels and walking till my house doesn’t sounds that good right now!

Oh my God, I shouldn’t been this drunk! Louis fault! Damn..

Zayn’s P.O.V

This party honestly sucks! I might go home and get some sleep…

Where are the boys? Maybe one of them can give me a ride. I look over the room trying to find them but I only see Louis, Gabi and Emma in the couch… Whoa… They seem… Drunk!

I walk towards them and when I reach I only hear Louis and Emma laughing like crazy but Gabi was pretty quiet instead, which means there’s probably something wrong!

I lean in and ask her if she’s okay but she looks in my eyes and don’t say anything

“Hey.. Gabs..” I say and swing my hands on her face

“Ohh Heyy, Zaynn!” She said in loud voice

“Oh my God Gabs, you’re pretty drunk , uh?” I said chuckling

“Just a little…” She said trying to get up

“Hey, be careful…” I said holding her arms stopping her to fall as she starts to laugh like crazy

“Okay, little girl, I think you better go home now!” I said and put her right arm around my neck

“Wait! “ She shouted at my face and almost everyone looked to us

“What?” I asked confused

“Where’s Harry?” She asked in a numb voice

“Even drunk you can’t stop talking about Harry, uh?” I said sarcastically knowing that she won’t remember about this tomorrow

“Heyy!” She said and punched my arm

“I’ll try to find him, okay? Now sit here and don’t go to anywhere!” I said and started to walk trying to find Harry

After a few minutes looking for him I’ve already searched the whole house and no Harry! I sigh and go upstairs, maybe he’s in the bathroom or something.

So I start to open almost every door , I was starting to get annoyed and feeling like stupid searching for the boyfriend of the girl I like. But before I could give up and go back downstairs I hear a girl laughing and for a little second I thought I knew that voice, so I follow the sound of the voices which was coming from the last room in the hall.

I know I shouldn’t sneak behind a door but I was with a feeling that something was happening and that wasn’t a good thing!

I pushed the door open just a crack, and wretched at what I saw. Harry was there almost eating Brenna’s face on that bed. But … where’s all that bullshit about Gabi being the love of his life?!

I feel the angry taking over my body so before I could say something I decide to go back downstairs and take Gabi home before she see’s anything! 

Chapter 21

Zayn’s P.O.V

“You’re so quiet!” Gabi said all drunk laying her head in my shoulder as I drive.

I just nodded trying to keep my thoughts away from how angry I actually was to Harry.

After a few minutes driving my phone starts buzzing, but I’m not in the mood right now so I just ignore it and keep with my way to Gabi’s home.

“Hey, you’re in home!” I said to Gabi but she was sleeping with her head in my shoulder.

“Gabss, wake up!” I shake her but she keeps sleeping like if she was in her own bed.

Well, I guess I’ll have to carry you, uh? I think in loud voice. So I grab her in the nicest way as I could.

Gabi’s P.O.V

I woke up still fully clothed from the night before. My head’s spinning and my ears buzzing. What the heck happened last night?

My eyes squinted and they felt like they were burning with the sunlight coming from my window. I stretched out my arms and turned in the bed, no recollection of how I got here.

Confused, I quickly sat in the edge of my bed and start to look every part of my room as if I was searching for something or someone.

I walk slowly downstairs and go straight to the kitchen; even though I’m a mess I’m hungry as usual!

I open the fridge and take forever to pick something so I walk to the room to turn the tv on and end up the deafening silence that took over the house but before I could reach the living room I see Zayn lied in my couch asleep

What the heck is he doing in my couch?

Even more confused than before I walk slowly towards him to see if he’s really sleeping, and yeah Zayn Malik is sleeping in my couch in the middle of my room. But the question is: WHY?

A bit scared of this whole situation I start to poke him trying to make him wake up.

He turns in the couch and moans something but I can’t understand what it is, so I keep poking him without saying anything. Yeah, I believe this particularly scene from an other point of view might be really funny and I’m probably looking like a weirdo.

Suddenly he fall from the couch making me jump

“Oh my God, Zayn are you okay?” I say trying to help him to get up

“Uhh.. yeah, I guess” He said and sat at the edge of my couch and a awkward silence took over for a few minutes.

“So… Why are you trying to kill me?” He chuckled making me feel uncomfortable

“What, no… I… Why are you sleeping in my couch?” I asked and probably sounded pretty dumb!

“Oh, well… Last night you were way too drunk to come home so I … well, I had to carry you to your room” He said looking to the floor

“What?” I asked embarrassed

“Yeah…” He awkwardly nodded

“Oh my God… I said almost whispering “Wait, but… What about Harry?” I asked confused

“Erm… I couldn’t find him” He simply said but I could feel how uncomfortable he become when I asked for Harry

“I gotta go home now Gabi, see you later!” He said and quickly grabbed his stuff, walking through the front door.

And I just sat there trying to understand what really happened last night

 Zayn’s P.O.V

I quickly grab my stuff and walk through the front door trying to reach my car.

When I’m finally far enough of her house I start to breathe properly.

When she asked me about Harry that whole scene came in my mind and I couldn’t let her notice what her ‘cute little boyfriend’ did last night.

I’m not trying to improve nothing, I know Harry… He always does that; he can’t be faithfully not even if he wanted to! But I don’t care about him, I’m worried to Gabi, how she will react if she found out that ‘her’ Harry is banging Louis cousin!?

Chapter 22

Gabi’s P.O.V

I’m still confused of what happened last night, I’ve been texting Harry but I didn’t have any reply. Maybe he’s sleeping or something, but I’m starting to get annoyed with this entire situation.

I sigh and turn the TV on to kill the time while I can’t get any explanation of ‘things’.

After a few minutes bored watching some stupid show on mtv I hear the doorbell so I walk quickly to see who it is.

When I open the door Harry is stand there with a tired face.

“Hey baby” He said kissing my cheek

“Hey” I simply replied

“So, what’s up?” He asked walking past me into the living room and sitting in my couch.

“Well, maybe you could start explaining to me why Zayn brought me home instead of my boyfriend?” I asked annoyed and quite rude

“What?” He said surprised

“Oh, so you didn’t know?” I said sarcastically “Then can you explain to me where you was the entire party that you didn’t noticed that your girlfriend wasn’t there anymore, because is quite obviously that you weren’t with me!” I said raising an eyebrow

“I was with the rest of the group, Liam, Danni and I thought you were tired so you went to home” He said trying to explain

I just sighed and sat in the couch annoyed

“Hey, Gabs… I’m sorry. I asked to Louis where you were and he said you went to home so I thought everything was okay!”  He said holding my hands but I kept with my moody face.

“Gabss!” He said staring at me with puppy eyes dog.

“Louis was drunker than me!” I said chuckling

“Yeah, I noticed! By the way, I didn’t think you were the type that gets drunk in parties!” He said laughing

“Louis fault, okay?!” I said poking his tummy

“I think I already know what to give to you in your birthday!” He chuckled

“What?” I asked confused

“A bottle of wine!” He said and started to laugh

“Oh shut up Harry!” I punched his arm and started to laugh as well

So we stand there laughing and talking about everything and nothing the whole afternoon but my dad was coming home tonight and I didn’t wanted to stay in home cooking for him so I convinced Shelby to call everyone in her house to eat pizza.

After taking a shower I knock in Harry’s house so we can go walking to Shelby’s house.

After a few minutes we arrive in her house and the jokes about me being drunk last night was becoming annoying! Well, actually it was a bit funny but I don’t want to remember the night that I had to be carry to my bed! Not that I remember anyways!

Everything seems like a blur in my mind, the only thing I remember is Zayn speaking to me and then nothing. Oh God, how embarrassing!

Oh, by the way… Where’s Zayn? He should be here as well!

 I walk towards Shelby who’s in the kitchen and I ask about Zayn but before she could reply I hear his voice coming from the living room so m and Shelby go there as well

I stood there awkwardly waiting for him to stop talking with the boys; I don’t know if he noticed but he looked at me and went to the kitchen

I follow him and when I reach his back I call his name making him turn to see me.

“Hey” He simply said

“Hey, well… you leaved my house really quickly earlier so I didn’t have the chance to thank you for you know…” I said looking to the ground and trying my best to not sound extremely stupid

“Oh, you don’t have to thank me!” He said and started to make his way back to the room

“Well, thanks anyways!” I said making him stop for a little second but he just nodded and kept walking.

Zayn’s P.O.V

I wouldn’t come in this ‘reunion’ but I need to act normal if I don’t expect anyone to notice that something is wrong.

So I just sit in the couch and try to chill out with the group.

“Hey guys!” I hear a girl’s voice coming from the front door and when I look it is Brenna.

My eyes quickly go to Harry who pretends that didn’t saw her.

“It’s so cold tonight ugh!” Harry says completely ignoring the fact that Brenna was there and hugs Gabi by the waist. Everyone is in their own group of conversation but I can’t help but notice how stupid Harry is acting like if nothing happened.

“I can warm you!” Gabi said wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him on the lips.

I feel the angry taking over my body and the urge to scream till everyone hears that Harry is cheating on her! But I need to contain myself even though Gabi doesn’t deserve to being fooled like this.

So I just take a deep breath and try my best to look normal which worked till I see Brenna walking upstairs and Harry following her.

I couldn’t believe he was about to do what I was thinking he were! But Gabi is right here!

I quickly made an excuse so people wouldn’t notice anything and started to make my way upstairs.

Anger boiled inside me as I crept along the big stretch of hallway, trying not to let the floorboards creak.

I open the door, but this time I’m not trying to not get noticed because there he was… Harry on top of Brenna, once again.

When he heard the noise of the door hitting the wall he let go off Brenna’s body and looked at me with a panic face.

He quickly tried to say something but I just closed the door and told Brenna to go downstairs.

I wasn’t worried about her saying something because she wouldn’t. Obviously!

When Brenna finally left the room I took a deep breath.

Harry was still sit on the edge of the bed with his eyes wide open like if he was seeing a ghost!

“What the heck are you doing?” I said trying my best to not shout so people won’t hear me from downstairs.

“I-I… you can’t say anything to Gabi!” He said getting up and looking straight to my eyes s now you were face to face.

“Harry, you’re banging Brenna?! In the same house as Gabi! What the fuck are you thinking you’re doing?!”

“No, I…” he tried to say but I interrupted him before he could complete the sentence

“You’re so fucking stupid Harry! She likes you! She really does… and after that whole drama you were the one that she chosen…” I shouted to his face “not me Harry, YOU!”

“Zayn, let me explain…” He tried to say but I interrupted him one more time.

“And where’s all that shit about your stupid ‘Skinny Love’, best friends that like each other and blablabla. For Goodness sake Harry!”

I said and took a sit on the edge of the bed; the urge that I was feeling to punch his face was unbelievable!

“Alright, Zayn.., it was only this time, I swear…”

“Don’t you fucking dare to lie to me, I saw you with Brenna last night while YOUR GIRLFRIEND was downstairs drunk!”

“Okay, okay Zayn… But please don’t tell Gabi, she will never forgive me!” He said almost getting on his knees.

“I wont tell Gabi, don’t worry. But if I see you with Brenna…”

“I won’t!” Harry interrupted me “I promise!”

I sighed and walked towards the door. “Whatever…” I said before leaving the room and walking downstairs.

Chapter 23

Harry’s P.O.V

“Whatever” Zayn said before leaving the room

Shit, What I’ve done?! I didn’t wanted to kiss Brenna, I didn’t wanted to do nothing but she was there almost throwing herself in my arms.

I’m a boy, I can’t handle that and now Zayn starts to treat me like if I was he’s little brother! I know he’s right… I know that what I did was wrong but c’mon… he would do the same!

Gabi’s P.O.V

You know that feeling when everything is normal but you feel like if something’s wrong. Like if something is about to happen…

Sounds stupid, I know! But I’m feeling like that right now!

“Gabi can you lend me your phone please, I need to call my mum and I forgot mine!” Brenna said with a smile on her face.

“Sure” I said handing her my phone.

Yesterday I was annoyed with her but maybe I was being stupid… she’s nice, I guess.

“Here it is, Thanks!” She said after she finished her call.

“Oh my God, This necklace is so cute!” She said pointing to the necklace that Harry gave me after an argument that we had. A “friend’s argument” but he was too cute giving me this! He asked his mum what to give to a girl when she’s mad and she said that jewelry is always nice so he bought me this necklace…

And I just know about this whole story because he’s mum herself told me and he always gets embarrassed when I say how cute this was.

“Oh, thanks!” I simply replied

As she kept talking about stuff I turned my eyes for a little second to the stairs but it was the exactly second that Zayn was coming downstairs.

Maybe I’m paranoid, but I’m pretty sure he looked straight to my eyes like if he was dying to tell me something. It was for a second, but I swear to God that felt like ages and made me feel a shiver down the spine.

I felt the urge to go talk to him but what I would say?! That wouldn’t work so I just walk upstairs to see if I find Harry, who’s I haven’t seen in a while.

I decided I’d check the bathroom first. Empty…

I started get worried as I walked though the hallway but before my mind could start to play any games with me Harry opens a door and stops in front of me.

“Hey, what happened?” I asked trying not to show that I was worried.

“Uh, nothing… Why?” He said a bit nervously

“Just wondering!” I smiled “So, what are you doing here?”

“Just searching for Shelby’s guitar, I thought we could have a ‘little show’” He said and grinned

“Since when you play guitar, Harry?” I asked raising an eyebrow

“I don’t, but Niall and Shelby does!” He chuckled

“Oh, okay” I said still not sure about this.

After this weird moment we went downstairs and apparently things went back to ‘normal’.

“Ugh, I’ll have to go home because my dad is back to town!” I said almost whispering to Harry because I didn’t wanted the rest of the group to hear

“Oh, you don’t like when he’s in home right?” He asked whispering as well.

“You already know the answer!” I said looking to the amount of empty bottles that was in Shelby’s table.

“I have an idea… Why don’t you sleep with me tonight?” He giggled

“Oh, great idea, and your mum will love this idea as well!” I said sarcastically

“My mum is out of town, her cousin its sick and she went make a visit to her!” He said grinning

“And your stepfather?” I asked still not convinced about that

“He went with my mum…” He simply replied

“I don’t know…” I said trying to get out of that situation

“C’mon! You can tell your dad that you’ll sleep in Shelby’s house!” He insisted “And we’ve already slept together, remember?” He asked raising an eyebrow

“Harry we’ve slept in my house that night because I was alone and sick and you were the one that insisted! Oh and we SLEPT by the way!” I said sarcastically

“Who said we will do anything else? Just sleep!” He said chuckling.

I just sigh and don’t say anything not knowing if I want to sleep in Harry’s house because is quite obviously that we will not  just sleep!

Harry’s P.O.V

Yeah, I’ve made a mistake kissing Brenna but I’m trying to make things right!

I know that Gabi doesn’t get along with her dad so maybe we could sleep in my house, since my mum is not in town.

I’m not gonna lie, I’m looking forward that maybe we could do more than sleep but I’m not taking advantage of that. Well, maybe just a little!

But C’mon, We’re dating for almost two months…

Gabi’s P.O.V

“Well, Good night guise! I’m off to my bed!” I said waving and grabbing my bag

“Well you mean MY bed, right?” Harry whispered in my ear making me feel butterflies all over my tummy.

We started to make our way in the sidewalk hand to hand. Harry’s house is two houses after mine so we are basically neighbors.

The silence took over and we barely talked the whole way.

When we finally arrived in his house he asked if I already texted my dad and I just nodded.

He opened the door and ushered me in.

I stood in his hallway awkwardly, not knowing what to do or where to go. He walked past me and asked me if I wanted something to eat.

“You’re still hungry?!” I asked sarcastically since we just have a pizza night

“Hey, I need to eat to grow up strong!” He said chuckling

“Oh Lord…” I just said sarcastically

“Hey, I have an idea!” He said with a huge smile on his face

“Oh, great, another one!” I thought with myself

“Let’s watch a movie?” He asked, I wasn’t in the mood but he’s face was so cute when he asked that I agreed.

After a few minutes he chosen a DVD and we just sat in his couch.

This couldn’t be more awkward… I know what is about to happen and I know we wont watch the movie. So I’ll just sit here and wait, this seriously couldn’t get more awkward!

I moved in closer, resting my head in his chest.

I could hear his heart beating faster which made me even more nervously so I sat up from him leaning away slightly.

“What’s wrong?” He asked like if he was guessing what I was thinking.

“Nothing” I smiled at him trying my best to not show how nerve- racking I actually was.

He started to stare at me like if he knew what I was thinking indeed.

Suddenly he started to move closer to me like I did before. Looking deeply to my eyes whilst moving a piece of hair behind my ear.

I probably started to blush because I could feel my face burning!

I tried my best to not look in his eyes and I think he noticed because he grabbed my hand and said “You’re too cute!” lifting up my chin and crushing his lips against mine.

Before I knew it, 20 minutes had passed and by this time we were laying on his couch.

The kisses started to began more and more passionate making me nervously once again and I couldn’t stop thinking that I wasn’t sure about this, if I was ready…

“So, let’s go to my room?” He said interrupting my thoughts and making me cringe.

Chapter  24

Gabi’s P.O.V

Suddenly something starts to vibrate in Harry’s pocket making us laugh out loud.

He sat on the couch and stared at this phone for a couple minutes. He’s face was a bit weird like if he was surprised making me feels curious of what that was about.

“What’s wrong?” I asked curious

“Oh, nothing is just … my mum” He replied suspiciously

“Okay…” I simply said

“Erm… so where we were?” He asked with a cheeky smile

“Well, you asked me about your room” I replied awkwardly

“So…Let’s go then!” He said grabbing my hand and leading me upstairs but before we could reach his room his phone starts to vibrate once again but this time he didn’t even opened the text which made me wonder why.

After we were already in his room he puts his phone over a bedside table and I couldn’t help but thinking about those texts, something was telling me that I should read them.

“I gotta go to the bathroom” I lied trying to escape from his arms

“Now?” He asked laughing

“Yes, now!” I said and started to walk towards the bathroom but without he noticed I grabbed his phone that was next to me and put in my pocket.

When I reach his bathroom I quickly lock the door and start to creep on his phone.

I felt bad for doing it, but something is telling me that those texts were not from his mum! I opened up the messages folder and started to scroll though his inbox.

And after a few minutes I couldn’t feel nothing but angry. I was right it wasn’t his mum but I wasn’t expecting that … this could be happening!

I feel the tears starting to pour down my face and I stood there for a couple of minutes not knowing what to do, just crying in silence like if I was numb.

“Is everything okay Gabs?” He asked me through the door making the anger boils inside of me even more.

I quickly rub my hands in my face trying to clean the tears that has fallen and open the door angrily

“Yes Harry, I’m perfectly fine, everything is okay!” I shouted angry making him stare at me with his eyes wide open surprised

“Gabi, why are you crying?” He asked getting up of the bed and with a softly voice like if he didn’t anything wrong.

“Oh, yeah, I may have forgotten the fact that I’ve discovered in the last five minutes that my boyfriend is “sleeping” with another girl…”

“Oh my God  Gabi…”He interrupted and by this time he was already thinking about an excuse to say to me.

“But you already knew about this, right Harry?!” I said sarcastically staring at his faced

He stood there like if he was frozen and by this time the tears was all over my face.

“Oh my God… You don’t even will try to lie” I said looking to the floor as if the tears were starting to weight on my eyes.

“Gabi I…” He started to talk but stopped without even finishing the sentence.

The expression on his face was of shock and I felt like if wouldn’t even try to apologize. It was like if he were expecting it already.

He sat on the edge of his bed and stared at the floor without moving a single muscle.

After a few minutes I was so freaking angry and I couldn’t even yell at him because he wasn’t reacting and it made me angrier.

I couldn’t stare to him anymore so I thrown his phone angrily on his bed and ran downstairs. I pick my stuff throwing them on the rushing out of the front door and down the road and BAM I bumped straight to Zayn who appeared from nowhere.

“Hey what’s wrong?” He asked looking straight at me

“Nothing..” I said trying no to look to his face and started to walk fast but he grabbed my arm and pulled me back

“Why are you crying then?” He asked a bit rude

“I’m not…” I tried to lie but the flashes of Harry and Brenna together started to show in my mind like if I saw them together.

I tried to contain my tears but suddenly everything felt so worthless and I broke down once again.

“You found out, didn’t you?” Zayn asked with a stupid ‘I knew it’ feeling on his voice

“What?” I asked confused

“Harry and Brenna, you discovered right?” He asked this time a bit embarrassed

“You knew it?!” I shouted to his face

“Yea, but..” He tried to explain but I interrupted him like that was job today!

“You knew everything and you didn’t have the thought that maybe you should tell me?! You knew that they were banging this whole time, Zayn?!” I shouted even more angrily than before

“Gabi..”

“SHUT UP, Just.. shut up! Let me guess, everyone knew about that and I the only who was being fooled like a stupid kid?! That’s great! I’m feeling awesome right now Zayn! Thank You!” I shouted one more time and started to make my way home but before I could make two steps Zayn grabbed my arm.

I wouldn’t stay there listening to him but the grip in my arm started to hurt my skin so which scared me a bit.

“Listen…” He whispered “You should go home now, I’ll go with you and I’ll explain everything there!”

“What? No.. My dad is in home and … just leave me alone okay?!” I said trying to escape of his grip but failing

“You can’t go home this way!” He said like if he wasn’t realizing that he was almost crashing my arm

I couldn’t say anything, I was tired of shouting to everyone so I just nodded and followed him down the street. I didn’t even know where we were going but for some reason I felt better than before… almost safe.

Chapter 25

Gabi’s P.O.V

We walked in silence for a few minutes, I couldn’t stop sobbing and once in a while I could feel Zayn looking at me.

I was feeling embarrassed but every time I started to think the tears started to pour down my face!

After a while Zayn stops making me do the same, at first I wasn’t recognizing his house but after a few seconds I remembered of that ‘apologizes scene’ that we had here.

He didn’t say anything, just walked up the pathway and quietly unlocked the door.

I followed him and awkwardly stood in his hallway waiting for his next move to follow once again.

“Mum, I’m in home!” He shouted and looked at me like if making a sign that I should follow him upstairs.

We reach his room and he slowly closes the door. I’m pressing my bag against my chest since I left Harry’s house so I keep there holding my bag like if I was holding my heart .

“Give me your bag…” He quietly says making me look to his eyes for the first time in the day

I don’t say a thing and give it to him. But now I was feeling more exposed like if the bag was protecting me.

I’m probably going crazy with all this thoughts by now!

“Wanna talk?” He asked me looking straight to my face

“No” I simply replied

“What you want to do then?” He insisted with a softly voice

“Cry is an option?” I sarcastically said

“If you want to… but I think you already did that” He said with a serious expression on his face

I looked to the ground trying to keep the thoughts in my head away.

“Gabs, that’s okay…” He started to make a rant about how everything happened and that he didn’t wanted to tell me because Harry’s also his friend and blablabla

“I gotta go home now Zayn!” I said almost shouting and interrupting him

“Wait…” He said looking to me with his big hazel eyes

“I just want you to know that I’m here, I’m not your best friend and I’m not Harry but if you need someone I’m here for you! Okay?” He said looking deeply to my eyes, I felt butterflies in my tummy and for a little second my thoughts about Harry disappeared!

I just nodded and picked my bag on his floor.

“If you want to stay I can talk with my…”

“No Zayn” I said interrupting him “Thank you, but I need a moment to… think” I said and started to make my way downstairs

He followed me and when we were at his garden he grabbed my hand softly and looked straight to my eyes with his big eyelashes “I hope you’re ok” He said but I had the feeling that he was about to say other thing.

“I will be…” I replied and hugged him. He wrapped his arms in my back like if he was holding me and I could feel his heart beating through his chest.

Zayn’s P.O.V

Gabi was there, crying her eyes out like if her heart was in pieces. I could see the pain in her eyes every time she looked at me and seeing her like this was breaking my heart!

I was angry and I’ve never felt so angry like when I saw her crying alone in the middle of the street.

I was rude and tried not to show how desperate I was to stop those tears to fall from her eyes.

The moment I grabbed her hand in the middle of my front garden was like if the world stopped. She was there crying because of another guy and the only thing I could think was to kiss her lips but I couldn’t… I was about to say how much I care about her, how much hurts in me to see her crying but I couldn’t…

Instead of that, I looked in her big dark brown eyes and lied. Because I didn’t wanted her to be okay because I know that even though she’s hurt, she’ll forgive Harry when she stops crying! Because she loves him and not me!

That’s it.

Chapter 26

Harry’s P.O.V

I don’t know what to do now! Gabi knows about everything and she probably won’t forgive me…

I listen someone knocking the door so I walk slowly and hopeless that this might be her.

When I open it she’s there, her eyes were red like if she has been crying the whole night. I feel the urge to hug and kiss her but I’m not allowed to do that anymore.

“I think we need to talk” She says looking straight to my eyes making me feel embarrassed.

“Okay” I said looking to the ground entering to the room waiting for her to do the same.

We sat in the couch in opposite positions. She was staring me with a hate expression on her face what make me avoid to some eyes contact

“It’s over.” She simply said making me jump in the couch.

“What, but…” I tried to say. I was waiting for that but I didn’t think it would be so painful and quickly.

“That’s it.” She said and walked towards the door.

I ran after her and grab her arm “You can just say that and leave!” I shouted angrily

“Yes I can!” She said harshly

“No, you can’t! What’s your problem?! You didn’t even sound like you, is like if you’re numb!” I shouted but this time I was looking straight to her eyes

“Oh my God, what you were expecting? That I came here and cried and then you could say some bullshit and I would forgive you?!” She shouted escaping from my grip

“I wasn’t expecting you to forgive me but I thought you were at least hurt!” I shouted

“Oh you thought?!” She said sarcastically “I’ve cried the whole night FOR YOU, but then I realized that you don’t worth it!” She shouted and a single tear poured down her face

“Gabi, I just… I’m sorry!” I said quietly

“No!” She said and opened the door leaving the house.

Gabi’s P.O.V

Did you ever felt like if you couldn’t breathe? Like if the air was heavy and everything around you in slow motion? Well that’s exactly how am I feeling right now!

I’m dizzy and I wish my heart could just stop beating so I wouldn’t be able to feel this pain.

I don’t want to cry because I know that if I do I won’t stop and I’m tired of crying so I go to my house and lock myself in my room.

I cry till I get to sleep and I wake with my dad knocking the door.

“Gabiiii” He shouted

“Yeah!” I answered rubbing my eyes

“Open the door!”  He shouted once again

“Jesus dad, what?!” I said and opened the door angrily

“Oi, calm down moody!” He said sarcastically “I’m going to have a special dinner with a few friends of the work so I thought it would be nice if you help me to cook.

“I’m not cook to your friends, I don’t even cook for me!” I said squeezing my eyes

He sighs and looks to the ground like if was already expecting for that.

“Fine but I need you to look presentable.” He said and grinned making me raise an eyebrow

“ Oh, and you can call a friend to make you company… maybe you should call Harry!” He said grinning

“No thanks!” I replied

“Well, you should, because there will be only ‘boring old people!” He sarcastically said

“Fine!” I replied and closed the door.

Great, now I’ll have to pretend happy in a house full of my dad’s friends. I sigh and lay in my bed pressing the pillow against my face and wishing that I could disappear!

After hours lied in my bed doing nothing I realized that I have just a few hours till my dad’s dinner. Ugh!

I pick my phone and think for a few minutes what I am going to do.

I decide to text Shelb but she doesn’t know about me and Harry yet which means I’ll have to explain everything to her and I’m honestly not in the mood.

I think about the others but I’m pretty sure they already have plans for tonight. Harry was the one that used to save me in situations like this.

Shit, how I miss him!

After a while in a depression blank I decide to text Zayn , for reasons. Even though I’m pretty sure he will reply with a lovely and sweet No.

After a few minutes my phone starts to vibrate and when I open the text I feel relieved and a bit guilty at the same time. He’s coming!

Oh well, that was unexpected…

 Oh I think I should have a shower now then.

Harry’s P.O.V

Things are so messed for me right now; Gabi hates me and is like if the whole world is against me!

“Hey babe” my mum said entering in my room. “Are you ok?” She asked concerned

“Yeah…” I replied

“You’re gonna stay in home tonight?” She asked

“Yeah…” I replied

“May I ask why?” She insisted

“Gabi and I… we had a argument” I simply said

“Then I think you should go talk to her, uh?” She said with a nice smile on her face. My mum knows how to make me feel comfortable even when I’m dying of anxiety like right now.

“I don’t think she’ll talk to me” I said looking to the ground

“Well, I think you should try. Who knows uh?” She said making me feel hopeful

I just grinned and nodded.

Gabi’s P.O.V

After a long shower and taking forever to pick something to dress I’m finally ready!

“Gabiii, your friend is here!” I hear my dad shouting from downstairs.

I run as fast as I could and open the door to find Zayn stood there with a smile on his face. He’s looking actually stunning! And for some reason I’ve always thought that he’s the perfect boy band type.

“Hey!” I said smiling

“Hiya!” He said making me laugh

“Thank God you’re here!” I said almost whispering because my dad was on the kitchen.

“Why?” He said chuckling

“Well, first of all… this is a dinner for my dad’s friends and I would die if I had to stay here by myself!” I said making him laugh

“Gabs, why are you wearing your converse?” my dad said

“Erm… because I like them!” I replied

“Oh God!” He said and went back to the kitchen

Yeah, I was wearing my black strapless dress with my converse. Why? Because I love them!

“My dad hates the fact that I always wear it all the time!” I chuckled

“I think you look cute!” He said making me blush a bit.

“So, my dad’s friends will arrive here any moment! Shall we go to my room and hide?!” I said whispering

“Sure!” He said laughing as we went upstairs to my room

We were having a good time talking about nothing and laughing. It’s awesome like since I saw Zayn I forgot about all those ‘Harry’ thoughts.

Suddenly I listen someone knocking the door “Gabi, your other friend is here and what the heck are you doing here… with a boy?!” My dad asked

“Other friend?!” I asked confused

“Yeah, now go there and don’t you dare to lock this door once again with this mini Justin Bieber!” He said making me want to die.

“Justin what?” I asked laughing making Zayn laugh as well “Sure dad because Zayn looks sooo much like Justin!” I said sarcastically

“Oh shut up and go downstairs now!” He said getting annoyed

Zayn and I went downstairs laughing of how my dad is clever noticing how Zayn looks like the Biebs , which is obviously not true!

I open the door and all those thoughts come back making me feel weak on my knees as the person at the door began to scan me after he noticed Zayn behind me and all I could do was stand there and wait for his reaction. Because I couldn’t find words to describe how I felt.

Chapter 27

Gabi’s P.O.V

I felt like if he was hurt and surprise. I guess Zayn was the last person he thought would be with me right now.

I stood there waiting for his reaction but he just turned around and began to make his way down the street, his head drooping towards the floor.

I didn’t know what to do so in a reflex I ran after him ignoring the freezing cold hitting in my face.

“Harry” I shouted grabbing his arm to turn to face me.

He looks straight to my eyes and the expression on his face was like if he was about to cry and angry at the same time… Harry don’t cries very often but when he does is so painful to see, I  know how weird this sounds but I’d rather to cry than to see him doing that instead.

I didn’t know what to say so I stood there looking to him waiting for something that I didn’t know what was.

He turned around once again and started to walk leaving me there with my eyes watering and feeling guilty like if I did something wrong.

I knew I didn’t but I couldn’t help the feeling.

Suddenly I feel a grip in my arm as I turn to see Zayn stand there looking straight to my eyes. He opened his arms and pulled me in a hug warming my skin but unfortunately not my heart.

I started to cry ruining my make up on his chest.

“I’m sorry…” He whispered

“What, Is not your fault!” I said with my head still pressed against his chest

“I know…” He replied “NoW stop crying before you become a panda!” He said grinning and making me laugh

“Haha Yeah…” I said rubbing my eyes

“Let’s go back to your house then or your dad will get mad!” He said and grabbed my hand

“Okay…” I simply replied

Zayn’s P.O.V

Gabi was there in the cold crying because of Harry once again. She was so sad and lonely that you could notice in her eyes even when she smiled.

After a few minutes I say to her that I have to leave for a while but I’ll be back so I left her house and started to walk down the road after Harry.

As I reach his house I see him sat on the pathway with his face through his hands.

“Hey mate” I say stand next to him.

“What you want?” He asked me harshly looking to the ground

I sigh and sit next to him.

“Listen… I know what you’re thinking and…” I tried to say but he interrupted me

“I don’t wanna know! She got tired of me cheating on her and you were there. That’s it, right?!” He shouted angrily but at the same time when he looked at me I could see tears in his eyes which Is not that common to Harry!

“No, you’re wrong! She’s crying for you… she only texted me because she couldn’t text you but you really think she didn’t thought about it?!” I said making him look to the ground once again

“Whatever … she wont forgives me! I’ve lost Gabi and maybe is your turn to try! Go ahead!” He said even more angrily than before

“Harry, stop being so stupid! She loves you!” I said trying to convince him even though that was killing me.

I didn’t want Gabi to forgive him, I didn’t want that they come back to be a couple… Harry had his chance and treated her like trash … But I know that she won’t forget him; she won’t fall for me… And I need to make things right because at least she’ll stop crying!

“You really like her, uh?” He asked facing the ground

“Yeah…” I replied doing the same as him “But she likes you so I think you should stop acting like a kid and go there… she needs you!”

He looked at me and stared for a couple of minutes.

“Not tonight…”He said and entered in his house.

Harry’s P.O.V

It seems like everything is going down in my life right now! I know that whole situation is my fault but If I could predict that all this stuff would happen I would think before doing.

She’s there with Zayn and all I can do is sit here and try to forget her… So in his point of view I need to go talk to her.

Oh C’mon! Since when I receive advices from Zayn?! He almost sleeps each day with a different girl!

But now he’s the perfect lad and I’m the one who screwed everything up?! How things got like this!

I punch the wall trying to make the angry in my body and in my mind to disappear.

Gabi’s P.O.V

After a few minutes Zayn’s back.

“Hey!” I say quietly

“Hey!” He simple replied taking a sit next to me in the couch

“Almost everyone is already going to their houses…” I said playing with the tips of my hair

“Well, maybe I should go home as well…” He said watching my moves.

“NO” I almost shouted “Uh… You can stay for a while, I mean… if you want to!” I said embarrassed

“Okay, I’ll stay… I mean, if you want to!” He said making me grin

“But your dad won’t get annoyed for me staying here, right?” He asked chuckling

“Don’t worry; he’ll take his illustrious girlfriend to her house…” I said rolling my eyes

“Illustrious?” He said laughing and I just nodded

“That’s funny because I didn’t saw her here…” He said

“That’s because she’s not here… at least not where I can see her.” I said making him give me a look like if he weren’t pretty confused

“Long story Zayn… I don’t like her, and my dad knows and I said to him that I would live with him but I wouldn’t have any kind of relationship with that woman so yeah…”I said looking to the floor

“Oh harshly!” He said making me a bit annoyed “May I ask you why you don’t like her?” He asked

“Well, I have my reasons…” I simply replied

“Okay” He simply said

“Gabi, I’m going to Izzy’s house, okay?” My dad said grabbing his coat

“Okay..” I replied without looking to him

“Ermm… your friend needs a ride? I can take you!” He said staring at Zayn next to me

“No dad, don’t worry!” I said rudely

“Thanks anyways…” Zayn said grinning

“Okay, don’t go sleep too late Gabriella!” my dad insisted before leaving the house

“You know what’s funny?! I asked sarcastically to Zayn “My dad is always traveling and when he’s in home he goes to that women’s house and he sees me with a boy and suddenly he feels the urge to warn me!” I said making Zayn stare at me like if he was a bit scared.

I felt uncomfortable so I walked to the kitchen to get some water. He follows me and sit in the table.

“Maybe he was just worried… “He said looking at me while I was drinking the glass of water “Because y’know… the girls loves the Biebs!” He said making me laugh almost choking my drink.

“So… what we are gonna do?” He asked raising an eyebrow

“I don’t know, what you suggest?” I asked

“Party?” he said chuckling

“What?” I asked confused

“We could go to some club, because c’mon Gabs, we are in London!” He said making me regret of asking him to suggest

“I don’t know…” I said trying to escape

“Oh, c’mon… you’re already dressed for a party, uh?” He said chuckling

After thinking for a while I decided to go! Things can’t get worse today anyways!

“Fine, but I’m not gonna wear high heels!” I said giving him a look

“I love your converse!” He said laughing 

Chapter 28

Gabi’s P.O.V

“Great, my head is spinning!” I said laughing

“I think you’re becoming alcoholic, uh?!” He said as we collapsed in the couch.

“Your fault!” I shouted

“I’m sorry for making you have some fun!” He chuckled sarcastically

“C’mon let’s go upstairs or something, this sun light it’s blinding me.” Zayn said as he lifted himself towards the stairs.

“Okay…” I said and followed him

“Oh, wait… I said grabbing his arm “This is my room, you can sleep in the spare room if you want to” I said.

I was drunk but not stupid.

“C’mon, I’m not gonna attack you!” He said looking straight to my eyes and grinning. The alcohols breathe hitting my face.

“I don’t think so!” I said as my back was pressed against the door blocking him to enter.

“Gabsss” He said giggling and getting closer and closer to me.

“No!” I said trying not to look in his eyes.

He didn’t say anything and kept getting closer. By now his face was a few centimeters of mine and his body was pressing against mine. I could feel his heart beating fast which made me nervously.

“Erm.. Zayn, the spare room is over there!” I said pointing to the door behind him but he didn’t even looked.

He kept his gaze in me and I couldn’t stop those goose bumps.

He slides his hands down my sides and parks themselves in my waist. I couldn’t help but feeling butterflies all over my tummy and as more as I wanted to let go I didn’t wanted as well.

He was looking deeply in my eyes and as in slow motion he pulled me closer and kissed me almost angrily.

He starts to move his head down to my neck and I could feel his hot breath sending shivers down my spine.

I ran my fingers through his hair as him open the door behind me after entering he quickly closes it and pulls me into another kiss. My mind was a mess and everything was literally spinning by now!

He lifted my thigh with his hands bringing it up around him and pressing my back against the wall one more time.

I could feel his fingers pressing against my skin as he whispered in my ear something that I didn’t understood. His touch was becoming eager and I couldn’t believe he wasn’t tired of holding me against that wall. I close my eyes for a second as he keeps kissing my neck side to side

But suddenly I hear the doorbell and that knocks me back to reality. I push Zayn away from me and try to look trough the window to check who it is but without success.

“Zayn, stay here and don’t you dare to go downstairs!” I say and ran to open the door trying to fix myself and my messy hair.

As I open the door Harry is stand there looking flawless with a cute smile on his face showing his dimples.

“Hey… can I talk to you?” he asked grinning

My air become heavy and I didn’t know what to do so I try my best to look normal

“I’m kinda busy right now, but I’ll text you later, bye!” And bam, I close the door on his face almost desperate.

Shit, what I’ve done?!

I quickly go back to my room and Zayn is sat on the edge of my bed. I sit next to him and quietly say “Zayn, we shouldn’t have done that! This was a mistake”

He just nodded.

“I’m sorry, we are both a little drunk and…” I tried to say but he interrupted me.

“That’s okay Gabi!” he said walking towards the front door. I tried to run behind him but when I reached the living room he had already left the house.

Zayn’s P.O.V

“We shouldn’t have done that, this was a mistake!” Her words were echoing in my mind.

So this was basically a mistake to her! A MISTAKE?!

I spent the whole night trying to make her mind busy so she would not be able to cry over Harry and suddenly things happen. Yeah because I wasn’t planning that to happen, but it did.

And she says that were a freaking mistake?!

For God’s sake, this girl is playing with my mind. I can’t even believe!

And the worst thing is that I’m mad to her but I can’t be angry because I know that she never told me that we would be together. Not even drunk!

But honestly MISTAKE was a word that she didn’t need to use!

Fuck, why do I have to like Gabi so much?! This isn’t even fair!

Before I could reach my house I feel my phone vibrating in my pocket. As I open I see a text from Gabi.

“We gotta talk? -G”  

At first I hesitate to reply but I knew that there’s no way to get away from it.

“I think so… -Z”

“Can you come back, please? – G”

“Ok – Z”

And that was it. I didn’t even enter to my house and turned around to Gabi’s house once again. I walk quietly in the pathway and hesitate for a while to knock her door but I think she was waiting for me because she opened the door even before I did.

She was a mess… still on her black dress from last night and a confused look on her face.

“I’m back…” I simply said as she nodded making a sign with her head for me to enter.

We sat at her couch and no one said a thing for a few minutes.

“I don’t like to do that…” She said looking to the ground

“Do what?” I asked confused

“Play with people’s feelings..” She said embarrassed

“You’re not playing with my feelings” I said looking straight to her

“Are you sure?” She asked looking at me

“Yeah…” I lied “That was just a ‘drunk people thingy!” I smirked trying to hide the truth

She sighed in relief as if she just solved a huge problem.

She smiles to the ground for a second as if she just remembered a joke.

“…and I’m still drunk!” She said chuckling

“Me too dude!” I said chuckling as well.

“You know… if you want to we can do another drunken people thing…” I said laughing

“Oh I guess we already did a lot of that for today, uh?!” She laughed

“Well, don’t blame for trying!” I said chuckling.

 Yeah, I was lying, that meant a lot to me but I’m not gonna lie… after what we just did upstairs, have to sit here and act normally is a little bit hard!

Gabi’s P.O.V

Well, you know what people say about having friends of the opposite sex, right?

There’s always the one who you’ll end up falling and that one who’ll always have a sort of sexual tension.

Two months ago I didn’t believe in that but now I think Harry’s the first one and however embarrassing it may be I think Zayn is becoming the other one.

We are becoming closer with this whole stuff about me and Harry and I know I shouldn’t say this but I kinda liked what happened early.

Ugh, why things have to be so complicated?! Why can’t I just hang out with him an be normal, why every time we met I have to feel those goose bumps and every time he looks at me is like if I could read his mind.

And after all this feelings I still love Harry more than anything and for more than I try I can’t forget him?!

I just wish I had a time machine and I could choose not to move to my dad’s house so I wouldn’t be able to meet them and my life would be so much easier.

Chapter 29

Gabi’s P.O.V

After talking to Zayn and taking a long shower I was preparing to get some sleep since I spend the whole night wide awake with him but before I could put my PJ’s on I remember that Harry was here earlier and I almost hit the door on his face!

Oh shit!

I put some clothes on and start to walk down the street till I reach his house. I walked up the pathway and quietly knocked on the door.

After a minute or so, Harry’s mum opens the door with a nice smile on her face.

“Hey, Harry’s in home?” I asked awkwardly

“Yeah, he’s in his room… go there!” She said smiling

“Okay, thanks!” I said and started to make my way upstairs.

I quietly walk towards his door not knowing what to say or what to do when I see his face.

I hesitate to knock the door for a few minutes but then in a impetus of courage I knock it squeezing my eyes and biting my tongue, preparing myself to an awkward situation and probably future tears since that’s what I’m doing everytime I see Harry nowadays.

After a few seconds Harry opens the door.

At first he looked at me like if he was surprised but then he asked me what I was doing there in a moody voice.

“Well, you went to my house earlier but … I couldn’t talk to you so here I am” I replied remembering why I didn’t talked to him earlier.

“Erm… yeah. I thought it was an excuse to not talk to me” He said sitting on the edge of his bed

Oh my God… If he knew what was really going on! Wait… What are doing Gabi?! You don’t have to feel guilt for anything, he was the one who cheated on you, remember?!

I blink fast trying to make those thoughts disappear.

“So…” I say looking to the ground

He sighs and starts to speak looking to the ground as well.

“I’m… I…” He said stuttering and not being able to finish a single word making me feel horrible and  I don’t even know why.

“I’m sorry!” He said almost whispering

“What?” I asked not being sure if he said what I heard

“I’m sorry Gabs… I’m honestly going though the worst days of my life! I can’t even describe how painful was to see you with Zayn last night and I know I was wrong and I’m almost begging you to apologize me! Please! I…” He said looking at me and I could see his eyes watering.

“…I love you!” He said and my heart dropped that second. Seeing him almost crying…saying those words and oh my God!

I stood there freeze not knowing what to do. Part of me wanted to forgive and hug him but an other part was blocking me to do that! Is like if my heart was willing to forget everything he did but my mind couldn’t do that!

“Gabi…” He said walking towards me waiting for my answer and I could feel that for some reason he was confident that I would forgive him.

“Harry… I can’t!” I said and ran downstairs as fast as I could and went to my house locking in my room and crying myself to sleep.

Zayn’s P.O.V

I wake up early and get ready for school. Yep, I’m late as usual and yep my ‘early’ is not that early!

When I finally reach the class the teacher is already there so I walk slowly trying not to get noticed but I failed.

“Mr. Malik… late as usual, uh?” Mrs. Jones said raising an eyebrow and making everyone look at me.

“I’m sorry Mrs.” I simply said

“Go get a sit please and start to get notes of the board!” She said harshly

I just nodded and walked towards the empty seat but in my way I see Gabi sat in her own which made me look for Harry instantly. They always sit together in the classes that they have in common and now he’s on the other side of the classroom.

Truth is, I couldn’t stop staring at Gabi the whole class and when the bell rings I go after her as quickly as I could.

“Hey Gabs…” I said grinning

“Oh hey!” She smiled back

“Are you ok?” I asked but before she could reply Shelby appears from nowhere and hugs her.

“Oh my God Gabs… are you okay?” She said still hugging Gabi.

“Yeah…” Gabi said looking to the ground

“Jesus, I’m gonna punch Harry! I swear to God!”  Shelby said which made me notice that Gabi probably told her about everything.

“I just… I don’t want to talk about it, ok?” She said and Shelby just nodded.

“Hey, are you ok Gabi?” Danni and Liam said joining the group as well.

“Yeah…” She replied with a fake smile.

“I knew that Brenna would bring problems!” Danni said and I could feel how uncomfortable Gabi was.

“Where’s Harry?” She asked to Liam

“I don’t know, maybe with Louis!” He replied

“Oh and the most awkward thing is that we’ll have to be careful because Brenna is Louis cousin which means we can’t call her a bitch as we should !” Danni said

“VAS HAPPENIN GUYS!” Louis shouted

“Lou!” Danni says trying to make him realize that this wasn’t the moment for jokes

“Oh, hey Gabi…” He said embarrassed

She was by now shrunken and pressing her books against her chest.

She was dying with this whole situation and no one noticed how uncomfortable they were making her feel.

So in an impetus I grab her hand and start to walk leaving everyone behind looking at us confused.

“Thank you!” She said awkward when we were far from the group

“You don’t need to thank me!” I said

“Yes, I do!” She replied walking next to me and looking to the ground.

Suddenly I see Harry walking in the opposite direction as us and Brenna is right behind him.

He passes next to us staring at Gabi and she tried her best not to look but when Brenna passed Gabi faced her and I could feel the angry taking over her body. It was as if she was using all of her strength to not jump on her.

“Good Morning guys!” Brenna said waving ignoring everything that happened

“Your whor…” Gabi said trying to grab Brenna’s hair but I grabbed he arm before she could reach it.

“Don’t do that! She’s not worth it!” I said looking straight to her eyes.

She sighed and started to walk once again but I felt like she didn’t want anyone around so I left her with her thoughts.

Chapter 30

Gabi’s P.O.V

Four weeks have passed and honestly I’ve been worst each day!

In front of people I’m okay … ‘happy’ but when I’m lonely in my room that’s not how I feel.

I’ve missing Harry so much that isn’t even healthy! I thought I didn’t liked him that much and maybe I would forget him as time passes by but it hurts so bad not talking to him!

We’re in holidays and I’ve been stuck in my house since then!

Sometimes the girls or even Zayn come here but I’m getting into this ‘hole’ and I’m afraid that I won’t get better.

Yeah… I know that it might sounds pathetic and I’m probably looking like a drama queen but is not only because of Harry… I mean, is not only about losing my boyfriend. Is about losing my best friend, the only person who I’ve talked to in ages!

He’s the only person who actually knows me! And when I moved to this town I was living in a blur… I hate my dad but thanks to my mum I had to live with him. I hate my dad’s new girlfriend, I hate this new house, I hate my family and I hate myself.

But for the first time in almost 18 years I’ve felt happy! And now I’m back to that blur!

I’ve been spending a few good times with Zayn but is like if things are not right!

Zayn’s P.O.V

Weeks passed and I’ve been slowly giving up on Gabi.

She’s becoming quieter though. She rarely talks and is always in her house!

I’m worried to her but she doesn’t talk to me which makes things harder. I can’t help if she doesn’t trust in me.

Well, I’m not gonna blame her since the first person that she trusted betrayed her like Harry did but she’s getting into a depression mood and I’m afraid that this can get serious!

I pack my stuff and start to make my way to Harry’s house since I’m this bad feeling about Gabi’s situation.

After a few minutes walking I reach his house. I quietly knock the door and he quickly appears;

“Hey” He simply said

“Hey, Harry can I talk to you?” I asked

“Yeah…” He just nodded

He closed the door behind him and walked through the pathway. He stops in front of me looking to the ground.

“Well, Harry I know how this will sound… but I’m quite worried about Gabi!” I said not knowing how he would react since the Gabi topic has being avoided by him.

“Why?” He asked not showing a lot of interest

“Well… I’m gonna be honestly with you, I think she’s getting into some kind of depression!” I said cautious

“What?” He asked confused

“She’s completely different and she doesn’t act like the ‘normal Gabi’, I know that it might be because of the end of relationship but I think it’s more than that!” I said worried

“Talk to her then… She needs someone to talk to” He said not showing any interest

“Harry, she doesn’t talk to me, she doesn’t talks to no one! The only person that she used to talk were you, remember?!” I said sarcastically starting to get annoyed about his attitude

“I can’t help you then…” He said and I could feel the angry boiling under my skin

“Harry, what the fuck is your problem? She was your friend before she was your girlfriend, remember?!” I said angrily

He just looked at the ground as if he was embarrassed and enters in the house.

Harry’s P.O.V

I knew what Zayn’s was talking about and his words echoed in my mind the whole afternoon.

She used to be pretty depressed and that was what made us to become best friends. She started to tell me her stuff and I used to do everything to cheer her up no matter what!

I thought she was better but it seems I was wrong!

The guilt starts to boil inside of me. I couldn’t stop thinking that she’s depressed again because of me and because of what I did.

I try to contain my thoughts but it gets worst each minute. I’m getting consumed by the fear of seeing Gabi in pain and when I realize I’m walking towards to her house.

I knock the door not knowing what to do when I see her face. Not knowing what to say and not knowing how she will react.

After a few minutes she opens the door. At first she looked at me surprised and the expression on her face was representing exactly what she was about to say

“What are you doing here?” She said in an angry voice

“We need to talk” I said

“No” She replied closing the door angrily

I tried to knock again but she didn’t replied forcing me to go back to my house guiltier than before.

She doesn’t want to talk to me but I feel like she needs… why can’t we just go back to the time when we used to be friends??

I go to my room and even with this weight on my shoulders I sleep really quickly.

I wake up in the morning still fully clothed and with my mum shaking me.

“Mum, what happened?” I asked confused and rubbing my eyes

“Your friends … they are downstairs and” She said

“And…?” I asked

“I think you should go there babe!” She said with a weird expression on her face

I don’t get why she’s talking to me like this but I go downstairs to see what’s happening.

When I reach the living room everyone is waiting for me and I mean everyone!

“Hey guys, what happened?” I asked grinning

A silence takes over the room and I can’t understand what’s happening, maybe is some kind of prank that they are trying to play on me. But I see Shelby crying in Niall shoulder and that scared me.

“Guys… what’s happening?” I asked a little bit scared

Louis steps in front of me and says almost whispering “I need to talk to you, mate!” He said grabbing my hand and leading me into the kitchen

When we reach there he takes a sit and looks straight into my eyes like if he was about to reveal the most precious secret ever.

“Gabi is dead!” He said and at first I laughed nervously not knowing why he was joking with something like that

“Harry is truth!” He said looking at the ground

“What? Oh Please, she’s not dead, she’s…I don’t believe in you Louis!” I said and walked fast through the hallway leaving the house.

I ran till Gabi’s house and when I get there I see some police officers in front of her house.

I couldn’t be able to ask what was happening to them so I freeze as my heart is pounding fast.

“Harry!” I hear Louis shouting behind me

“She’s not dead, right Louis?! Tell me that you were just kidding, tell me that you’re a twat and this is just a prank! Tell me that she’s not dead Louis, please!” I said and the tears started to pour down my face

“I wish I could Harry!” Louis said looking to the floor

I could feel my knees getting weak and was like if my heart stopped beating. Suddenly everything become worthless and I could barely see with the tears in my eyes.

I kneel on the green grass of her house and for a long time the only thing that I could feel was an unexplained pain in my chest like if the whole world stopped. Louis hugged me tight as I leaned my face to his shoulder watering his shirt with my tears.

Chapter 31

I was numb, I couldn’t feel a single thing… is like if I was dreaming and this whole situation is just a horrible nightmare.

I’ve always heard that sometimes when people have to go through something really painful the mind can block that and is like if your brain is in a hiatus and you stop feeling. Actually, you stop thinking.

Well… I think is what’s going on with me.

My mind it’s blank as if everything has been deleted. I can’t feel, I can’t cry… actually I’m barely breathing!

I see Louis and my mum talking to me, trying to make me drink some water but I just can’t hear them, or at least I don’t want to.

 But suddenly a loud voice caught my attention.

“No, Niall let go off me!” Shelby shouted bashing her fists against Niall’s chest.

“Is your fault, you know that Harry??!!” She shouted at me.

“Shelby!!” Louis shouted back

“No Louis! It was HIS FAULT! She killed herself because of Harry!” She shouted between her tears

“She what?” I said listing my head

In this moment I realized that I didn’t know what happened to her. I mean, what really happened…

“You fucking prick! You ruined her life! “Shelby kept shouting as everyone was trying to shut her.

“She was my best friend and now she’s dead… because of you Harry! You’re the one who should be dead, not her!” She shouted and Niall grabbed her by the waist leading to the outside.

Oh my God, now everything was starting to make sense! It was my fault… she committed because of what I did.

Everything around me began to spin and I started to feel nauseas, like I was going to thrown up. Anger started to boil inside of me and I wasn’t in ‘shock’ anymore but I was struggling to keep my feet on the ground.

Shelby’s words hit me like a train and I knew that was true!

“Louis!” I say feeling the tears pouring down my face

“It..Was my fault…?” I said sobbing.

“No mate! We don’t know what happened but is not your fault!” He said sternly

“Her dad found her body in a pool of blood; she used a knife to lacerate her wrists…” Zayn said looking to the floor. I could tell that he was crying because tears were falling to the floor and slowly hitting the dark wood floor.

“Oh my God, I felt like if someone just punched my stomach really hard and the pain was gradual.

“Also, she left a letter and I think is something that you know…” He said staring at me with his red eyes.

“Not now Zayn!” Louis shouted

“I want to listen it!” I shouted sobbing

Zayn grinned sarcastically like if he was surprised with my attitude.

“Here it is, read it by yourself!” He said handing me a piece of paper and leavingthe house.

I grabbed the paper before Louis could take it of me and ran upstairs locking myself in my room.

I read the words in the white paper and the air becomes heavy one more time.

“I’m sorry… I’ve been trying for so long but it seems like I can’t do this anymore…

But I’m not weak; please don’t ever say that, I’m just tired of trying!

I sit on the floor and cover my face with my hands trying not to scream. There’s a weight in my chest and I can’t even describe the pain!

I knew what she was talking about in that letter. When we become friends and she told me about her issues I made her promise me that she wouldn’t be weak and that she would never stop fighting.  I made her promise and she made me promise that no matter what we would still be friends… I promised but I failed.

And now she’s dead! I punch the floor crumpling the piece of paper.

I refused to go to the funeral. I didn’t want to believe that Gabi was dead and going to that ‘thing’ was the opposite of my thoughts.

Each day passed like a blur, I could feel pain and nothing else. But the pain that I felt wasn’t a simple pain….

Is not like when you cut your skin or when you fall and hurts you knee! It was a pain that there are no words to describe… Is something that you just feel and don’t know for how long you’ll survive.

Is a pain of realizing that someone that you love will never come back, you’ll never be able to talk, to kiss, to hug, to love as you used to.

I’ll never see her face again, hear her laugh, smell her perfume, and touch her skin.

It’s over and there’s no way back! But I’m on the edge and I have no idea how I’m gonna live without her here.

Well, maybe I won’t.

Chapter 32

Have you ever felt like if your heart is bleeding? Well unless you lived in the extremely hell then no you don’t.

I’ve been disturbed, drifting in my own life. Is like if a thousand needles had been stuck in my chest and now I’m bleeding slowly. Being consumed by the pain and even though that can’t kill me, it hurts too much to handle.

“Harry, mate are you ok?” Louis asked concerned

“No…” I didn’t even try to lie because there’s no point. Louis knows me too well.

“Harry you need to stop thinking about Gabi… You’re slowly wasting away!” he said looking straight at me.

“I can’t stop thinking in her Louis, what are you even talking about?” I said angrily

“I’m not asking you to forget her. I just think that you need to breathe fresh air Harry! I’m worried about you!” he said

“Louis, I can’t ok?! Gabi killed herself because of me! If wasn’t for me she would still alive and now you’re trying to say that I should stop thinking about her for a while because I need to ‘breathe’?! What about Gabi, uh? She doesn’t breath anymore… she doesn’t laughs, she doesn’t go around because she’s dead!” I shouted and started to make my way down the street

Louis tried to pull me back but without success.

I started to walk aimlessly. Shelby’s words echoing in my mind like if she’s whispering in my ear.

“She was my best friend and now she’s dead… because of you! You’re the one who should be dead, not her!”

My mind is so messed and I can’t even think properly.

Shelby’s words are shouting in my head, playing games with my sanity.

“You’re the one who should be dead, not her!”

Why she did that?! Why she didn’t think a little bit?!

I’ve been thinking this whole time… A day before I was in her house. Zayn wanted me to talk to her because he was worried with her. She was depressed.

I went to her house and I noticed how sad she was. I could see in her eyes.

But when she said no, when she refused to talk to me I didn’t insist. I knew how she acted when she was feeling depressed and I knew that she was depressed  in that afternoon but I didn’t moved a single muscle to help her. I could’ve saved her.

When she told me that she didn’t want to talk to me I should’ve knocked harder. I should’ve opened the door. I should’ve shouted. I shouldn’t …. Do anything because I could’ve saved her life.

But instead of trying a little bit more I just went to my house and slept.

I loved Gabi… I know that I did a lot of mistakes but I still love her. I thought we would have more time. I thought I would have more time so I could say how much I cared about her and how much I loved her.

But now…She’s gone and I’m here helpless.

Tears start to pour down my face as slowly walk in the pathway.

There’s this bridge which I have to pass to go downtown and suddenly is like if a thought shined my mind.

I could end up with the pain… If I had the guts enough I could jump and the chances for someone to survive is so small that I probably would be free.

I lean in and look below the water crashing against the wall that supports the bridge and you know what’s funny? I didn’t felt that urge to jump but I’ve felt like if that could be my escape! I bet it wouldn’t hurt and I would die instantly!

I’m not stupid, I thought about how my family is gonna be when they found out… My mum would want to die! But I honestly don’t feel like there’s another way!

I slowly lean in more and more till I hear someone shouting at me

“FUCK HARRY WHAT YOU’RE DOING THERE?” Louis shouted desperate

“Fixing stuff!” I said and climb the little wall.

“Are you fucking stupid, come here right now Harry!” He shouted like if he was about to faint

“Mate, I’m sorry… I didn’t want you to see this but is something that I didn’t planned I just had the idea and I’m gonna do it!” I said looking to the water. A cold wind hit my face making me cringe.

If I don’t die in the fall I will probably freeze and drown.

 “Harry, please don’t do that! PLEASE!” He said and I could see his eyes watering

“Give me a reason to not do it!” I said almost whispering.

“Gabi wouldn’t want you to do that!” He said getting closer. I knew what he was planning… pull me when he was close enough.

“She killed herself mate, she wouldn’t mind if I do the same or not!” I said sarcastically.

“Harry, I bet…” He said but I interrupted him.

“Bye Louis” I said and gave a little step but enough for making me the solid ground that was under me disappears.

“NOOO” I could listen Louis shouting as I fell. The cold wind hitting my body as if it was breaking my bones.

It was pretty quick but in my mind was like if the world was in slow motion.

A thought made me grin a bit… Maybe I could see Gabi one more time when this all be finished…

I close my eyes preparing myself to hit the cold water. I knew what was about to come so I just close my eyes and wait.

After a few seconds something burns through my clothes freezing my skin.

It’s done. The pain stopped. The guilt stopped. The love stopped.

I’m dead.

 Chapter 33

Harry’s P.O.V

I choked as I felt something pressing against my chest. My head was spinning and I was feeling like if my whole body was burning slowly.

I opened my eyes trying to find out what was happening but the only thing that I could feel was the cold wind hitting against my wet clothes that was pressed against my skin.

“Fuck Harry!” I heard someone saying

For a slight minute I thought that it might be Gabi. I tried to speak but my throat was freezing and my words wouldn’t go out of my mouth.

I wonder if I’m dead but I always thought that it would be different, I don’t know.

Suddenly I hear a loud noise and people’s voice which was making me feel confused and a bit scared. I shouldn’t be scared though ….

“Hey what’s your name son?” A husky voice said almost whispering.

I tried to speak but the only thing that came out of my mouth was a few moans.

“I’ll take you to the hospital and everything will be fine, just keep awake!” He said almost gently

I was freaking scared but after that the only thing I can remember was Louis hand gripping my hand in a room full of people but then everything else become a blur.

Louis P.O.V

When I saw Harry jumping was like if my whole world stopped. He quickly fell hitting the water and I couldn’t see him anymore.

My first reaction was to cry, I couldn’t think in anything else but then a kind of an urge made me react properly.

I couldn’t let my best friend die! I had to do something

So I grab my phone and quickly call the ambulance. I ran as fast as I could to the other side of the bridge trying to reach the water.

Like a natural reaction I jump in the cold water ignoring the pain that it caused to me.

I knew that the chances to find Harry were almost none but I had to try.

I start to delve deeper and deeper trying to see at least a sign of him but I started to become breathless and the scare started to boil inside of me.

But suddenly I see something shinning towards me. I quickly swin to there and a heavy unconscious body was floating in front of me.

Seeing him in that way killed me but I had to be strong so I have no idea how but I grabbed his body and pulled him out of the water.

After that the only thing I remember was me inside of the ambulance holding Harry’s hand.

Maybe is that thing that people says that every once in a while when people are in dangerous situations the brain reacts in a certain way and it makes a human being do things that it would be impossible to do in a normal situation.

Well, I don’t know… what I just know is that I’m sat in this chair for 4 hours and the only things the doctors told me was we’ll have to wait till he wake up.

Harry’s P.O.V

 I open my eyes and I can’t see anything but the color white in everywhere. The walls, the curtains, everything!

I try to get up nervously but a pain in my back makes me shrink in the bed.  I raise my hand reaching for the phone that was next to me in a table but before I could stick it a woman dressed in white enters the room and tells me, smiling: ”Hey, you wake! There’s a few people who will be happy to know that!”

“What… what happened” I tried to ask but my words could barely leave my throat

“Well, sweet maybe you should wait for your family and friends and then we can talk properly!” She said and left the room making me cringe since I know what happened or at least what I’ve tried to do and face my mum, sister and the others will be painful.

After a few minutes Louis opens the door in silence. He walks towards the bed where I was laid and stops there in front of me with his head drop towards the floor.

“L-Louis?” I asked trying to improve the sound of my voice but failing as expected

The silence took over the cold room and I couldn’t stop thinking about what he was thinking right now.

Suddenly he raised his head and his now red eyes looked straight to mine.

“How you could?” He asked in a harsh voice

“Louis, I can’t take it anymore…” I said my eyes facing my lap.

“What? Did you ever thought about how it would be to everyone? How it would be for me? I saw you jumping from that bridge … my best friend since ever and I couldn’t do anything to stop you! Did you though how I was going to feel?!” He said almost throwing the words at me.

“You don’t understand Louis… the pain is so…” I tried to say one more time but he interrupted me once again

“Fuck You Harry! You’re in pain… so am i! So is Gabi’s parents and everyone who used to be her friends and Zayn did you know that he’s looking like a zombie?! He really liked her Harry… he would do anything to go back in time and stop her to do what she did but he can’t and you see him jumping from a bridge?! NO!”

Louis words hit me like a train. I knew that he was telling the truth but listen that from my best friend was way too painful

“And now you’re trying to kill yourself but I have some fresh new to you Harry! That won’t bring Gabi back!  So get over it! GET OVER! You already hurt someone you loved well… maybe is time for you to stop acting like an asshole and start to think about how your actions can hurt people around you! “

He finished saying and a single tear poured down his face.

After that I couldn’t say anything so he left the room and my mum and sister entered crying their eyes out but I couldn’t think properly after what he said.

He was right! Gabi’s death was my only and exclusive fault and I was being the usual coward that I am trying to kill myself to despite the pain.

I’ll end up killing more people that I love but I can just pretend that nothing happened and to be honest that would be great if I could say that after what happened  that whole in my chest was ‘fixed’  but truth is that is that it’s bigger than before

Chapter 34

Zayn’s P.O.V

You know what is most unfair… Have to pretend that I’m ok and that I have no feelings when I’m barely breathing.

Apparently only Harry can be sad for Gabi’s death, since he used to be her ‘boyfriend’ and now the brand news are that he tried to kill himself.

I swear to God that I’m trying my best to feel sorry for him but I can’t!

It was his fault and now he’s acting like a drama queen so people will stop blaming him but I can’t pretend like I don’t know what he did!

I went to his house, I begged him to go talk to her but he just rolled his eyes and pretended that I didn’t say anything… He said he tried to talk to her but we both know that this is nothing but bullshit!

If he were concerned about her he would pushed it harder, he would tried to stay around!

She was hurt lonely and she… she killed herself! And is Harry’s fault!

I hear someone knocking the door and I’m not in the mood for company so I just keep quiet.

“Mate, is me… Harry!” he said through the door making me cringe.

I feel the anger boiling inside me as I walked towards the door and opened it finding a Harry with a zombie face.

He looked straight at me and his eyes were red, he was quite pale and to be honest he doesn’t seems very healthy.

“Can we talk for a moment?” He asked almost whispering

I just nodded and walked towards my bed sitting on the edge of it.

As he walked and stopped in front of me I could see a huge purple bruise on his back and in his arms.

“Are you okay?” I asked a bit scared

“Yeah…” He sighed “That’s just what I got for jumping from a bridge” He said

I could notice a bit of sarcasm in his voice but at the same time he was simply saying it like if he was pretending to do it again.

“You were trying to… kill yourself?” I simply asked

He looked to the ground and replied with a simple ‘yeah’ as he took a sit next to me.

“Why?” I asked but I couldn’t feel sorry for him though.

He didn’t replied and we stood there for a few seconds in silence.

“Maybe I’m just a coward…” He said interrupting the silence that took over the room.

“What?” I asked confused

“I’ve always liked Gabi, you know but…”He sighed “I thought it would be ‘funnier’ if I did things with other girls as well, like if that would be a nice thing but I  didn’t thought about how she would feel if she found out… I just wanted to have fun and I ended up losing her.” He stopped to take a breath

“But the worst thing…” He started to talk again but his voice was getting huskier like if he was about to cry or something.

“…The worst thing is not knowing that she dumped me because I cheated on her that would be fine because I would know that she was okay. The worst thing is that she did what she did because of me and for more I try to think the opposite… I can’t!”

“Harry…”I tried to interrupt him but he started to talk again like if he needed to speak

“She used to be my best friend and I loved her since the fist day I saw her but I was afraid that if something else happened between us that would ruin our friendship and that scared me to death! But I did… I told her and we started to date, she trusted in me like she never did with anyone else and I betrayed her! She killed herself and this pain that I’ve been feeling is so fucking hard that sometimes I wish I could be there dead under six feet of the ground instead of her. Every night I cry because I remember that she is not here anymore and every morning is like a blur because I know that is another day that I’ll live and I won’t be able to see her face, to listen her laugh, to hold her hands… Every day I curse myself because I should’ve insisted more that afternoon, I should’ve done something and maybe she would be here right now but then I remember that there’s no such thing of ‘come back in time and fix things’ and that I need to face life and keep living this miserable life like if I was worthy of it but we both know I’m not…”

He finished saying and I looked at him but his face was dropped towards the floor and his hands were squeezing themselves like if he was holding the pain otherwise he would break down right there.

“I’m not gonna say that is not your fault…” I quietly said “But I think hurting yourself is not the solution… You need to face things and like you can’t fix your mistakes from the past you should start to think about your future and how you’ll act to not make such kind of mistakes again”

“I came here because I knew that you would be the only person who would be able to tell me the truth even though you hate me so badly!” He said almost whispering

“I don’t…” I tried to say but my consciousness stopped me. I do hate him, at least at this moment.

“That’ ok… I hate me as well” He said and walked towards the door.

“Thanks for listening me” He said still not looking at my face but before he could leave the room he said something that made me cringe a little bit.

“I bet you could’ve saved her if you had the chance…”
